After researching for about a month and losing 6 offers, either was out bid or seller gave final counter that was too far apart from offer, I finally got one I am satisfied with.

Mr.Incredible78---$85- $14,627-160-AKV 0/14, 160/15, 160/16, 160/17, Seller pays 2015 maintenance fees and closing costs, buyer pays 2016 maintenance.

Its just went to ROFR Today 12/08

The family is super excited. I still have my reservations and wont be celebrating until after ROFR.

You should be fine. I haven't really seen any AKV taken back recently. Mine for $75 per point passed in september

I'm kind of in shock. I was sure it would be taken!

Given how long closing etc has been taking should I ask the seller to bank the 29 2015 pts? They need to be banked by March 31 & we won't be able to use them until late August (so into the 2016 yu).

I'm super impressed with the company Buy and Sell DVC and whatever Title company they use. I can't believe how fast that was. Maybe it is a slow time of year?

Great news. We using same company and we passed ROFR on 11/19. No word on closing papers since then. My understanding they take full 30 days or longer. Hoping to have by Christmas.

The ROFR has nothing to do with the resale or title company. It could be 4-6 weeks now before receiving closing documents. Do you know what title company you are using?

We passed! Only took 9 days too! Notified on 12/09/15

So we have only just received our membership number on our first DVC contract and we have already decided to add on! We have just returned from a stay at BCR and DH loved it so wanted a small add on. There was only one 50 point contract on the market so here we go:

You should close a couple months before, so should be able bank yourself. Congrats!

The ROFR has nothing to do with the resale or title company.

Agree - Disney has sped up the process in recent months for some reason, but that's a good thing!

Unfortunately, the wait for your closing documents as a PP said is where the brutal wait is now...sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
