I watched the game at the Y yesterday so I couldn’t yell at the tv... Have we ever had a win after we’ve had a double digit win the day before? Those games are exciting for sure but I feel the let down isn’t always worth it! Let’s just score enough to win and save some for the next day, huh???

Regarding Javy and his apology - that really raises him in my estimation. And hats off to Strop for calling him out on it. A true friend holds you accountable but still stands by you regardless. Or at least that’s how I see it. Anyway... love this team and their heart.

it's super early so I'm still optimistic on Darvish . He looked good early, the Ump was squeezing BIG time,(Willy was struggling to frame as well..can SOMEONE get Miggy back to help him?!?!?!!?) and that was not a balk so I am understanding his frustration. However, J.Wilson is enough of a head case for the team, Yu can't just implode like that...well, he can if our bats are going full speed ahead, lol.
Schwarb's had a great catch, saved a run...Happ missed another one, but he did connect on 2 so that's a big step in the right direction. I wish the guys would take more walks~JHey managed one but deja vu making average pitching look stellar. Addie...where are you? I am now convinced that TLS is more valuable off the bench offensively. He did have a sweet grab today tho. Brave's 2nd baseman, Albies..wow! I was enjoying his talents..a player to watch for sure!
Willy...I love him. His instincts are killer, but today was a bad day for him. Matter of fact, I *almost* wish they had called Giminez up to catch Yu today.

Down here in Alabama it was in the 80s yesterday. Today we’re getting pelted by rain and the high tomorrow is in the 50s.
We’re driving through rain right now for an out of town wedding. Packing was fun... everything from shorts to jeans and a hoodie.

Back to the Cubs...missed yesterday’s game. Not too sorry about that though. Looking for a win today. Hope springs eternal right??

It's being replayed at 11pm Central on NBCSCH if you get that station. I was listening to Pat and Ron and Pat calling the eighth inning was a treat of a lifetime. I'm going to DVR it at 11 as I want to hear Len and JD. This one is a keeper. I hope Robin was there to see this one and we just haven't heard because she is thawing out.
