Disney Gift Card Deals

Luckily, Target just activated my eBay cards with enough time to take advantage of the 4x eBay bucks. If you ordered today, you may be active now.

Mine *finally* activated, so of course they sold out of $100 target cards....at least I was able to order $50s.

Went to target tonight and bought $1000 Disney gc's in $25 cards, and paid with redcard for five percent off, and all in one transaction. Took me awhile to find the $25 ones, but I was glad I kept looking and eventually found two big sections of them. Asked the girl at CS, she checked the ad, tried to do it but then checked with the manager just to be sure and He said "yep, just put it thru, it's not a big deal", lol. First she was giving me five for every card but then we figured out why it wasnt making sense, lol, that woulda been a great deaL!! Anyway, it was easy and no problem, so, very glad I decided to try it!

Now I gotta try to get to bed soon, gotta be up in a few hours to get to the airport! Be in WDW before noon Thursday! WooHoo! :woohoo:

Thanks for the picture! (And now I see that includes the $25 Starbucks cards! Uh-oh...)

If you don't mind getting the Starbucks emailed gift cards, those are part of the spend $50 and get a $5 target egift card that's going on now. Only the emailed ones $15, $25 or $50 are included, physically mailed Starbucks cards are excluded. I've been buying them all week, my husband is a Starbucks addict and this helps a little.

And you're getting you're $5 promotional Target cards? If you don't mind my asking- do you use a Target Red Card to purchase? I was burned last month picking up a buy a $50 emailed starbucks gift card and receive a $5 emailed Target gift card. Target put the order through and then notified me they cancelled the $5 promotional gift card, no explanation but charged and fulfilled the rest of the order. I didn't think it was worth fighting with them over the phone (I thought that maybe because my Red Card took 5% off the $50 total my purchase didn't qualify?) but if it's working for others I might consider giving it a shot again.

I haven't had a problem yet. I've been receiving the $5 promotional cards, sometimes when I can get Target cards from Raise I will use those if not then I just use my red card to pay (either way I get the 5%). So far I have been using the $5 from the previous transaction to purchase the next card.

Went to my target but they didn't have $25 disney cards. I did end up getting other gift cards just for christmas. The aplebees went through fine, but the others didn't. The cashier said that she couldn't add on the $5 cards but she took $5 off for every two like a coupon. Super nice! Didn't have to get a manager or anything, just looked it up in the ad and said let me make it right for you.
Worked for me too. A very easy 14.5% off. I am going back today to load up for my September trip (or our 2018 Hawaii trip - whichever).

Lucky!! My Target wouldn't let me do it! Even though the ad said "any $25 gift card". I had $750 worth and was ready with my RedCard!!

I think target should post a correction to the ad or honor it. It's incredibly misleading as is. These situations where some people get the deal and others don't could be avoided if target would get their act together.

Does anyone have a Chase Sapphire Preferred card, and have you tried to book a Disney cruise via their Ultimate rewards portal? It looks like they give 20% off on cruises. I'm wondering if this is a "real" discount. Curious to know if anyone has tried this.

Jodie

The coupon may exclude gift cards, but the fine print to qualify for the coupon did not exclude them.
Oh got yah!!! At first thought you were referring to getting gift cards with the 20%. I started getting excited thinking there may be a way to do that lol!!! Yep you are right! I bought 2 Target gift cards and they sent my 20% coupon fairly quickly

I went to Target this morning to pick-up an online order and was going to grab some $25 Disney on this discount. My store has signage up that the sale is ONLY on the gift cards that 'are signed' as being included. Weird way to put it but I knew what they meant. And they have signs over Applebees, Stubhub and a couple others. So I did not bother asking for the discount.

For those who did not get their 20% coupon, I talked to a manager at my Target store this morning. I explained the whole deal and how I had called Guest Relations and they told me to just come to the store starting on the 4th and they would ring me up with a 20% discount. First, she said they knew nothing about people not getting the coupon, and had not been told by corporate that there would be people coming in asking for the discount. Second, she said it is really 'not ideal' to have people coming up to the CS desk with a cart full of merchandise needing to be rung up. She seemed annoyed that GR told me to do that lol. Anyways, she just gave me a 20% coupon. Did not even care to see proof of my order when I offered to bring it up.

I've found $25 Disney Gift Cards at 3 Targets near me. 2 did it for me after some convincing and 1 refused to honor the ad and sent me away empty handed. Yucky feeling when that happens. Made me feel like I was doing something unethical. Fix your ad Target.

Yep, in the check out lanes they are putting special labels over the cards that are pictured. It's clear the Disney Cards are not intended to work this week.

I'll just wait until Sunday when that new deal will work without intervention.

My Target had these signs and then the special tags over certain gift cards in multiple places (electronics, greeting card area) so I think they were definitely trying to make sure it was clear.

I know those of you able to get the deal earlier in the week were able to do so without having to argue but I think I would have had to argue today for it and that is just not me. Would rather wait til Sunday also.

Just left target and bought $200 worth and they gave me the $5 promotional cards without me even saying anything. It didn't pop up she just manually did it...

Thanks for telling me. I found out what happened and this may help anyone else here who encounters this with Target online gift card purchases. Today I purchased another $50 starbucks gift card on the buy $50 in digital gift cards get a $5 target gift card and Target again cancelled my $5 target gift card immediately. When I dug into it Target just took $5 off the price of the transaction. I clicked the order in my online history and it showed a savings of 15% on the online receipt (10% for the $5 promo plus my 5% red card). I went back into my red card statement from last month when this first happened and indeed they only charged 2.50 when it should have been 7.50 (the rest I paid with a Raise target gift card). I have no idea why Target is taking $5 off immediately for me and sending others gift cards but since I was claiming to have been cheated by Target out of my $5 promotional gift card earlier I felt I needed to come back and say what actually happened.

That's weird but I would like it if it worked for me that way too. It would save me the hassle of using the one from the previous transaction. But hey as long as we are getting the savings then it's all good.
