Happy Whooohoooo Wednesday to everyone!!! What are you celebrating today?!

I am celebrating having the month of March sorted out and organized, to the best of my ability. We have a busy month and I have shifted around events, responsibilities and money to get everything covered…I even said-no, sorry I can’t-to 2 things people asked me to take on, which is a big deal for me!

I hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

WooHoo Wednesday - today I'm WooHoo-ing that I'm feeling good getting back into a healthy routine. I've done pretty good with getting my eating back to being aware of what I'm putting in my mouth and I've also been better about my sleep routine. I have a bad habit of staying up too late and I really need to work on that.

I also just had a dexascan this morning and I always feel better when I do something proactive for my long-term health!

I am going to have to try this. It sounds like a fun way to be on the treadmill.

@WDW_fan_in_TX I can only imagine what it is like not to have support. Dh and I walk together all the time. I will have to admit that sometimes it is him pushing me to go when I am lazy. I think how you are planning to work up to the 3 miles is great. I do the same thing on the treadmill with the speed. I have never used weights so I am not sure. You are doing great so far. Just remember that you are doing this for you and your health.

I am not so woohooy today. I follow Sister Wife's and one of there boys died yesterday. It is so sad. I think when someone dies by suicide it hits me really hard because it puts me back to the feelings I had when DD had suicidal thoughts. Thankfully I had the courage to ask her the tough questions and she had the courage to answer them truthfully.

I am also nervous right now for the surgery on Friday, so that is weighing me down a bit.

I can do a slight woohoo that it looks like FAFSA'a will be processed very shortly. This will help with work (for those that don't know I work for a college access program that gives out scholarships) and it will also help with DS and we really need to get is processed so we can fix the glitch that happened when we processed it. I only say a slight woohoo because they were supposed to be processed on Jan 31st and then at the last minute changed it to early March. I am cautiously optimistic this time.

Woowhoo today is that we got through it!
Sounds dramatic but it was just one of those days that was just busy enough to be chaotic, you know? But tomorrow MIL is having cataract surgery (first of two) so I took a half day for when the kids get off the bus. Normally I would just work and kind of use screens as babysitters until I was done (gotta do what you gotta do) but I had a bunch of use it or lose it vaca time to take before the end of the month.
Woowhoo that even though we'll be losing some sleep this weekend it will actually be light at 530 soon! This winter was not particularly snowy and didn't have a ridiculous amount of beyond Frigid temps but man was it GRAY. I am so ready for some light and color!

Woohoo for today is kind of small. I have a $300 credit limit on 1 of my CCs, and I've had it right up next to the limit and paying only the minimum every month then maxing out again the next month. However, I haven't used the card since November. I noticed today that I now owe UNDER $200. It stands at $199.76, but that's under $200. Seems it's never going to go down. But that's a small win and woohoo for me.

Prayed for you this morning for a safe and successful surgery 🙏🏼❤️

Happy Thankful Thursday to everyone!! What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful that tomorrow I am able to travel 2 hours away to see my SIL in the hospital while she undergoes a multi day procedure. My MIL and I are riding together and stopping for breakfast so I will have good company. Thankful she got in with these specialist and that she is able to get the treatment she needs. Hopeful that it helps her.

This is awesome. For you this is a huge Woohoo. Keep up the good work.

I am thankful for my husband and his work. He has pager duty this week and they are picking up this day for him so he can take PTO and get ready for my surgery tomorrow. He is going to get water (we use the 5 gallon jugs since our water in our city is really bad). Then he is going to go grocery shopping to make sure we are at least good for the weekend. He doesn't want to leave me alone until I am feeling good enough to move on my own.

I'm back and getting caught up. The trip was everything I could hope for and I'm still processing all of what I saw and learned. Came home to cold temps and even a small burst of snow yesterday morning... it sent me right back under the covers.

My goals for March are to lose the weight I put on while on vacation. I'm giving myself grace because the food was very good and very healthy, there was just a lot of it and eating was a big part of the social aspect of the trip, but now it is back to business. Other than that it is going to be to work on social things, getting into a pottery class or two and getting back to spin class Sunday mornings.
My thankful for today is to have been able to take the trip and to have had it turn out so wonderfully.

Welcome back!!! We have missed you!!! So glad your trip was great-you deserved it!! Pictures and beautiful thank you for sharing!!! 🥰❤️

Happy Tuesday!!!!!!

Since many of us are experiencing rain 🌧️ today I thought I would ask-do you like rainy days?☔
Not at all! I am definitely a sunshine girl. ☀
If I had to pick a favorite rainy-day activity, though, it's probably doing a puzzle.

My WooHoo Wednesday is from DS, who just finished a big project at work!!

Thankful Thursday - the sweet kitty in my lap right now, and great customer service from the phone place, who exchanged my new car charger this morning without any hassle at all. (The cord part was just a dud.)

Welcome back @Oneanne, feel better @Summer2018, good luck on the surgery @piglet1979, and whatever good vibes you need to anyone I missed!

So glad you had a great trip!!

I am so grateful that past me thought to add two at-home days to the end of vacation, leaving just two work days this week, helping me to ease back in to things. Getting back to a work-day schedule yesterday helped me to sleep well last night for the first time since getting back... I'm hoping it will also help me to feel more awake and energized today.

Plans for the weekend are focused on gardening and getting ready for Spring. Weather is predicted to be wet, so there won't be a lot of outdoors time, but I will get my seeds started which will include finishing clearing out the last bit of the back porch I didn't get done before I left. I'm also going to drive to the fancy nursery an hour and a ferry ride away, so that will take up most of Saturday. They've got dahlia tubers, which I'd like to try this year in addition to starting more from seeds, and many other yummy things.
