DDC XXXIV: The Original Home Of The DISDads!!!

Thank you !!! Maybe for the next round we'll do some food porn.lol
Budamacdvcr !!!! Man, what room were you in? Your pictures from your balcony look like mine.lol
We were on the third floor, last room, I think the room was 3000.
I am not sure of the room number but it was a 3 bedroom. Only there for two nights before a DCL sailing and had points that could not roll so figured WTH. The thing sleeps like 12, is two stories, etc. Looking forward to the day that we will actually put a place like this to good use with the expanded family some day. Though, I have looked at the point usage and seems like a 2 bedroom and a studio is less points than a 3 bedroom, plus the grandparents (someday) can totally get away by having our own studio.

I thought about that, but still a lot further out than you. My 10 year plan is a whole month stay in January in a studio with just DW and I.

With all the Poly and BW pics, I decided to play...

January at the BW

And the Poly

Traitoria al forno!! We have been eating here in arrival day. After being awake 24 hours and driving 16, this and a wine flight and old Zerfs is off to bed. Lol

Years ago, on Main Street, if I recall around the watch shop, there was a place to get your picture taken dressed in turn of the century attire.

I remember that place! I think I even got a photo there once.

Love Trattoria, my favorite Italian place in all of Disney. Also from January...

Even her vegetarian dish was tasty

Looks good Cj. We like it there, we have one more Italian place to try and we are going in September and that's il mulino. ( between auto correct and my spelling skills, I have to watch what comes up lol )
We just walked in last year and it was good. We went back for breakfast and it wasn't bad at all. If your staying there it's good, I don't know if I would make a special trip for the breakfast.
They also have the press pot coffee.

Germany 1985. This pic was taken in the middle of the day. Notice the thundering crowds. Also back then, it was just the mk and Epcot. Epcot was empty. I miss the old days!

On our way down the day after we got married we stayed at a holiday inn in Columbia Sc. If the walls could talk. Lol We got there around 3 pm and ordered room service. Lol ( we were 19 ) Oohhh I'm sorry if anyone on these boards were in the next door, you got as much sleep as we did! Lol

A friend of the kid sent her this picture of the island in Indonesia she called home for a month. If you look at the jetty on the lower left, their compound is just off that jetty. You can't really see their "buildings" from the pic. The blue buildings are the homes of the 200+ residents. She thinks the school is the long building on the upper left of the island.

Kind of cool seeing it from an arial view, it is a tiny island in the middle of nowhere. She thinks the pic came from a drone that recently arrived.

Did Il Mulino twice, one great, one OK. Still would go back. Haven't tried breakfast at Trattoria yet but someday. My best breakfast stop (other than Cracker Barrel and this place in Key Largo called Doc's) is Kona Cafe.

Love the retro pics. Need to scan some old ones from our first trips as a family.

Thanks Cj. Kona for breakfast is day 2.

Cool pic of the island! Little land mass with the tip sticking out. Step off that shallow shelf all the way around and it looks deep. Lol

Being an hour and fifteen minutes from New York City, I try to stay out of the New York restaurants in Disney. Lol
Tammy has eaten twice at the il in NY.
But since we are at the boardwalk for two weeks, it's a close walk.
