Official Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend - The Dark Side 2017

I'd think next week since its usually 2 weeks out.
Oh, maybe I'm confused by where to find the corrals, is it in the Virtual Goody Bag? When I went to the website it said that it wasn't ready yet and had a count down for 13 days.

No, Your bib number will be on your waiver and then they will post a chart on the runDisney website that tells you what corral your number is in.

Ahh, I am so glad I took one last look here before I leave for work! I wasn't expecting to see anything yet but I couldn't help myself. Thanks so much for posting @cavepig! I think the course looks great and it is exactly what I was hoping for! 3 parks, even if the DHS part is short, the Yacht and Beach area, and a full loop of World Showcase! I am soo excited now! The 10K course is interesting but should be okay as well.

The corrals only go through G? Are there that many less runners or are the corrals going to be bigger?
Hmm, that is definitely interesting. It may be a sign that there are fewer runners, but yeah, it could mean bigger corrals too. I was in G for Wine and Dine, so I certainly hope I'm further up this time. Perhaps D or E.

I do hope that the corrals mean larger differences between corral starts. With them being that large - hopefully they are 10 minutes between rather than the 3 to 5.

Wow, only through G. Either it has sold pretty badly or it's going to be big corrals. Either way, not as much breathing room as I was hoping considering the little training I have done with the weather/injuries.

It seems similar to the Paris half last year .... prob only 6 corrals, but they did the multiple start times in each corral. Which seems like what rD is tending towards. It also works pretty well, in my opinion.

Caveat - being at the front of your corral will be important if you're faster than the average bear or you simply need/want to maximize your time.

No DL perks will work at wdw. Same as no wdw ap perks at DL. Have you considered upgrading to the two parks pass? Then you'd get both parks perks.

Usually getting separate passes to each location will be cheaper than that 2 park pass unless one want the water parks at WDW too.

That looks perfect. I'm really happy about that course.

Does anyone have any experience with picking up bibs for minors? I'm trying to decide if they will let me pick up DD17's bib for the half if she is not with me. It says that a parent must pick up the bib, but it doesn't say if she needs to be there.

She was with me for the Princess, so I didn't think about it.

I'm hoping to sneak away on Thursday while we are still there with her band group. Otherwise, we will have to wait and go on Saturday morning.

They'll probably do the two minute mini waves inside each corral like they did for marathon weekend.

I pretty sure they have to have it, but in transportation I didn't see anything about buses from finish to hotel. Did I miss that?

SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! Lovelovelove the courses! This is going to be SO. MUCH. FUN!!!

Nope, she doesn't need to be with you!

for the half corrals only to G, to me it kind of looks like they couldn't really add more with the set up they have going.

It's under Event Transportation and read more
6:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Buses running from Host Resorts to Finish Line at Epcot® - - for the Half, doesn't say EPCOT to resort, but I'm sure means back & forth

Star Wars movies watching order:
IV
V
VI
I
II
II
VII
Rogue One

What can I say? I'm a purist. ;)

Ranking:
VI (I always had a soft spot for Vader)
V (but I also have a thing for Palpatine)
III (Bad Anakin >>> good Anakin)
IV (the one that started it all!)
Rogue One
VII
II
I

I'm hoping that's a watching order and not a ranking order. Because if that's a ranking order...no, just no. I mean it's only a matter of time before this board turns into a debate over Star Wars film rankings, right :)

Definitely a watching order. I could never rank the prequels in front of the original trilogy.
