Disney Gift Card Deals

I just checked my PayPal account and the 2% rewards offered for the month of June included gift cards! Bummer - I would have maxed out if I had known that. It clearly stated that it excluded gift cards. Well, it was an extra 2% for the several hundred I spent otherwise!
Where do you see rewards for PayPal? Do you have to click to activate it? I bought several rounds of gift cards through PayPal in june

It was a targeted offer sent out at the beginning of June. Many here mentioned they got it. You would have a positive balance from PayPal if you activated the offer and received the payout.

My churning has been on hold too. Nothing appealing at this time. The types of exchanges are so limited... in value they produce per purchase, and in how large of chunks one can do them. Just a couple months ago, it was worth the time to do $1800 a flip since it would produce around $90+perks on each end of the flip. But that is history and things are generating Ebay Bucks only, and only on one side of the flip... and costing gas money. Flipping $200 for 8% ($16) Ebay Bucks is not a good deal if it costs $5 to go to Best Buy, $5 to go to Game Stop, and 2 hours of time. That process earns approx. $4/hour. Even my son earns $20/hour mowing lawns so I'm not going to risk tying up my funds dealing with teenage retail employees who might block you just because they think they're enforcing policies, leaving me wasting even more time to get flipped.

Some ppl might be able to make the current options work for them, but the hassles outweigh the benefits for me right now.

I might look for $10 off $100 gas cards... that's a pretty good way to convert Ebay value to offset real expenses.
You pretty much wrote everything that I was thinking. June was a month for me to step away from the process because we were going to be away for a couple of weeks.

When it became apparent that GCM wasn't going to restock Target GCs, I decided to divest myself of my remaining eBay GCs. I ordered something from the Target store on eBay that I needed for a shower gift and have less than $15 left in eBay GCs.

In a couple of days, I'll be getting about $300 in eBucks and I haven't decided how to spend them yet. As much as I would like to use them for Disney GCs somehow, I think I'll probably end up using them for something for the house. I don't have the stomach for eBay->GS or eBay -> BB just to get the eBucks. Churning was great while it lasted but the return no longer makes the hassles and risk worth it.

Data point. Just left the local mall and was successful turning $100 GS to eBay, and $100 Sears to Disney. While I have never been questioned before (except once at Kmart) I feel like something is closing in, with others getting turned away at locations, banned from PayPal, etc. My wife runs a high volume Etsy store, and PayPal sees a minor, but significant amount of her revenue. While I use a separate PayPal account, I don't want the IP addresses matching and jeopardizing her business. Plus, my trip is coming up in August.

So, I have this $100 in EBay, $100 in GS coming from Cardency, and $150 in Sears coming from SVM. I will churn the GS to eBay, and probably get another $200 in Sears. Then churn that $350 into Disney at Sears.

After that, it will strictly be SB>Raise>Target/Walmart(Sam's)>Disney. All online.

Same boat. I really want a smartwatch for running and decided with the current state, I was better off using my ebucks for it than I would be earning the 6% from purchasing it.

I have $500 coming in ebucks and haven't decided yet if I'm going to deal with PPDG. I'm thinking about trying a $200 and $300 translation and splitting them up by a couple weeks. Maybe one the week of the 11th and then another right before the bucks expire. I just got $300 worth of gas cards during the last promo, so I'm all set there. I was thinking of getting a $25 Kmart or Sears to test the waters as our local one has Disney. GS is no longer an option for us either. I might consider individual sellers of Disney, Target or Walmart, too.

It would be nice if that Target promo was $10 for every $50 spent.

I think I'll start buying Gamestop gcs from NGC(National Gift card). They are selling $250 and $500 ones for $2.85 shipping. I like the idea of only swiping gc once just like a credit card. I already have it in my cart for tomorrow. I say tomorrow because last quarter was a day early.

Hopefully your local GS still accepts GC>eBay. You know my regular stores changed their policy in the last two weeks. Before I could even pull out my GCs to swipe, the employees asked how I would be paying for the eBay GC and informed me that they could only accept cash, credit or debit for eBay.

ETA: Buying GS to end back up with eBay really only makes sense during a big eBucks promo (8-10%) because otherwise you're taking a big risk that your GS won't change their policy in the meantime and leave you stuck with a GS GC for a paltry 2% eBucks + 1% Ebates return. Unfortunately, big eBucks bonuses don't come or take several weeks to come during a redemption month. So maybe you could just redeem your eBucks for an eBay GC in the meantime.

i found my lost gift cards!!!! wow that was a close one. what i found out online is if you buy them with a cc maybe you can do something about it, but cash or gift cards your pretty much sol... lesson learned, turning is risky in many ways! haha

This worries me but I'm still willing. I have $575 GS gs enroute and was planning to get $500 more this weekend w/ $500 bucks. Maybe I'll wait. I don't want to be stuck with more than $500. Thanks.
I'm also worried about my ebucks because of the setbacks this quarter. It will be a relief to receive all bucks due on the multiple accts since some family members share PP acct.

I just did my 1st and last churn through Sears today. I was able to find I thought $150 Disney (1 card was missing when checked out so only able to get $100). Then another $150 in 5 ebay cards. I walked up & pulled out my Sears gift cards. She called someone and asked "when is my lunch" which I thought was a little rude. She also asked if I was with the much older guy who was already checking out at a different register when I walked up to her register. She proceeded to count my cards and tell the person "8." She was answering "yes" multiple times,"Sears", then said"so it was ok. then?" Then she finished checking me out. The whole conversation was odd.

Since the 1 Disney card was gone and no more on the rack, I grabbed $50 in Outback. I have eBay bucks to spend so hoping I can combine these new eBay cards with them and be done.

I also noticed at the Meijers store today a sign they can request to see ID to purchase gift cards.

Today I went to get GS to get an eBay card. Again didn't have any issue the employee didn't say anything :thumbsup2.
I never have to provide ID at Meijers and regularly spend over $200 a trip. But every single time at Jimmy John's, I have to provide ID to spend $10. Whoops meant to reply to post above.

I bought a Target gift card (combined 3 other gift cards to purchase a single one) at 2:30pm today and it has been almost 8 hours and I still don't have it. I checked the status and it says that electronic gift cards will be delivered within 4 hours of ordering. I'm not going to do anything more about it tonight, but has anyone else had it take THIS long to get a Target gift card delivered? I used a $25 GC from Swagbucks, a $10 GC from ShopKick and a $15 Target gift card that was purchased a few weeks ago using (3) $5 FWP gift cards so all of them should have been "clean".

UPDATE: 15 hours later...still waiting...

UPDATE: I got an email telling me that my order is "delayed", but I finally received the card at 10:30am today.

I keep tossing around the idea of ending the churn completely and buying myself the Apple watch that I would NEVER be able to otherwise buy. This is "free" money and I would really like that watch, but I just can't pull myself away from the churning. I have usable funds in the vacation account, but I don't really want to throw any more cash into the mix until everything kind of settles down a bit.

I convinced my wife to buy an Apple Watch (stainless steel) and spring for a leather band over the Sport at Target because the difference was paid for with the "free" money I netted through churning. She's never second guessed that decision.

Both myself and DD25 were lucky enough to max out our ebucks. GS is still good for me, as of Tues, no issues, looks, or questions. BB is going quite well, both in purchasing and converting in store. I now currently have all gc's in BB.
Like you, it's hard to pull away from the churning, lol, especially when working so well at the moment. Not as good as when we could do Target but still good enough. Even driving to the stores to flip the gc's is easy as I'm driving by anyway, so not out of my way. I will use our Ebucks to purchase BB and then go in store, and get their loadable Disney gc's. I'm good with continuing my churning for time being.

I can say the same for myself in regards to both BB and GS working without any issues at all. I only started this process towards the end of May, so was able to get $250 in eBay rewards plus the gas points from the initial purchase of gift cards at Giant plus ebates I think I did ok. I don't make a special trip to these stores to convert the gift cards so no big deal there. Also, I tried using Dh's PayPal account last week for PPDG purchases and they went through without any verifications at all. I think it's because he regularly uses his PayPal for online purchases. Our trip isn't till December so for now, I can stay in the game and continue to do only small amounts at a time. It's when people decide to do very large amounts all at once at one store that it really draws attention. All the store associates I have encountered have been nothing but lovely.

I don't mind providing an ID. If a thief will shy away because of an ID, then good. Here is my ID for my legitimate purchase with legitimate funds. I have nothing to hide.

My CC even say check ID on the signature line.
