FP or dining pkg seating better for ROL...

I have dinner reservations at Tusker House for 705PM and a FP+ for Rivers of Light at 805PM.

I am not concerned with the BEST seats I am interested in getting a seat and not standing in line for an hour.

That said, do I need to change my dinner reservation?

Yes. No question your dinner is far too late.

Your dining would be rushed and,
its a very long walk from Tusker to RoL.

So how do you get a second show reservation?? We would be interested in a last breakfast, but all I see is first show?

With the dining reservation, you only get the early show. (I wanted late show, too, but you can't).

If you want the late show, you have to do standby or get a FP.

What to do, what to do... Dh and I are going to WDW over Easter Week, staying offsite. We are doing AK in the morning (rope drop) and HS in the afternoon on April 11th. I want to save my FPs for HS, so won't prebook one for ROL (Will there even be any left at 30 days?). I am thinking of chancing standby. There are 2 shows that night (8:30 and 9:45, park closes at 9:30. Wonder what the chances are of getting a seat at the 2nd show?). OR.... I could book a late breakfast ROL dining package at Tusker House (for the 1st show I gather), rope drop AK, ride rides, have a late breakfast, hop to HS ride rides, use my FPs, have dinner, hop back to AK for ROL dining package seating. We have a car, so transportation won't be an issue.

So does that mean that the Nemo side is ALL Standby the second show, so improving your Standby odds of getting in?

where is the seating for wheelchairs.. for both FP and standby? can wheelchairs be seated in the front.. to pullup in the back won't work as my husband has low vision. thanks!

The back of the house is where wheelchairs are seated in Fantasmic!
How does that work for him?

I moved my Tusker House to afternoon today...thanks for the advice, y'all!

Also, even though I have a FP+, what time do you recommend we get in line?

There's a good chance that there is only one show on your night. There are two shows only on April 9th through the 22nd.

I haven't seen an answer to this so I am asking it again, I you have a FP can you still end up standing if you get there "on time " according to the FP return window?

I'm interested in this question, also. We have FPs, and all I really care about is that we are seated. I'm happy to show up at the end of that "FP window" and sit in a "bad seat." That is much more preferable to me than waiting in line for an hour. But if there is a chance I'm standing - even with a FP? Well, that is another situation entirely. Someone please tell us that a FP guarantees a seat as long as you arrive in the "arrival window."

Do any of the seats have "backs" vs bleacher style?

In general no backs, some variety in seating surface (stone seats are very uncomfortable) but reports that last row may be up against a wall. I would imagine those go first and you would need to be in line early.
