This (DISNEY)land Was Made For You and Me - July 2016 Weight Loss and Lifestyle Change Challenge

I'm in for July... Really in, not just half in like I was in June ;). My goals for July:
1. To do a different/ new physical activity each week, which may include doing something I already do but doing it differently. If that even makes sense... Like I walk already, but getting out for a hike or walking in a new location would be walking differently.
2. To lose the weight I've put back on during and post vacation.

Really looking forward to experiencing Disneyland, as I've only been there twice. You would think it would be so easy to just jet down the coast for a couple days, but I always head to WDW. Maybe after this I'll have to go!

I am here!!

@courtneybeth you tempt me to make my goal this month a not weight based one as I seem to always miss my goal on weight based goals... But then, that would be lucky for you as international postage is totally crazy as my BF and I have found out! :goodvibes I love the theme and am looking forward to see Disneyland through your eyes!

@JacknSally You were just mentioned on the main DISUnplugged podcast! How nice of you to make these great shirts for the whole team! I hope being mentioned on the show does give your shop the boost that it definitely has earned!!

@Lady Marie that's great that you are signing up for coaching October!!

@Flossbolna thank you so much! I was so humbled that they mentioned me this week - I didn't expect it at all. I just wanted to do something nice for them. Their show about the Pulse shootings really got to me.

@Lady Marie I can't believe we're already talking about October, my goodness. Where is 2016 going??

Wow guys - this month looks to be a busy day at Disneyland. But the good news is that we don't have to worry about overcrowding on our tour --- so please, sign up and join us if you haven't already. Seems like the map and pin are luring some people back into the mix. Yeah!

Oh my word, you're adorable. I'm so excited about this month.

Me on Instagram // @craftiest_place_on_earth & @megan.s.legett (the latter of which is currently featuring photos of my dog's 4th birthday party & cake)
Me on MFP // Sorry, I'm lame! I have one but I pretty much don't touch it. I prefer LoseIt, and I think I'm going to try to start that one back up again. I have a Fitbit, though, if anyone wants to be friends there and do step challenges!

I've realized in the last week or two that I'm on my own this go around, at least in real life. DH is super supportive of my wanting the both of us to get back to where we were last October, and he wants it, too, but the way our schedules are nowadays, it's really "every man for himself" at our house. With both of us working 2 jobs now, we're rarely in the same place long enough to take walks together or cook/eat together. That means I really need to lean on my Dis friends for accountability, because when left to my own devices, I apparently regain 30lbs. LOL

I've desperately got to change my eating habits again. I barely drink any water anymore because I just don't think about it until my mouth is desert dry. I eat way too much fast food and i eat it way too late at night. Plus, working at a bakery, it's so easy to come home with goodies, or have a sample of something during my shift.

I'm at the bakery all day tomorrow, so much to @courtneybeth's dismay I am posting my goal now. July 12 is sign up day for the Princess 10K in Disney World. I'm setting a July goal that anticipates me, @courtneybeth, and @flvy all managing to sign up to run it together. I've devised a "running" schedule for myself that they, running experts that they are, have deemed worthy, so that is my goal for this month - to actually do my plan. Ideally, MWF will each be a day of C25K, and Saturdays will be a 5K. I know in February I need to be aiming for a 14-15 minute mile in order to not be swept and not stress about being swept, and my goal will never be and has never been to be fast. I just want to say I did it. I'm hoping that by the end of the month I'll see some improvement in either time or stamina - or maybe even both. For tracking purposes this month, I'll just use the Saturdays and not the MWF, since there might need to be some flexibility with those. 100% will mean I did a 5K every Saturday during July. Here goes nothing!

Hello friends - I'm already inside Disneyland waiting for you to join me on our tour! I'm standing at the gigantic Mickey flower arrangement with the Disneyland Railroad behind me. If it feels a little similar to Magic Kingdom at WDW it's because... its suppose to be! One thing you'll notice about our tour is that it'll feel very similar to MK, except a little smaller in terms of scale and size. It's a common theme: it'll feel very familiar... but different!

My name is Courtney Beth and I am your host for this month. I've been on these boards for a year and I am so excited to be leading my third challenge for WISH. Growing up in Orange County, Disneyland became my home away from home -- I'm very passionate about it so I hope you all enjoy this month as I share something very special to me.

Brief Overview of My Journey
June 2014 I weighed 215 pounds and didn't recognize myself in photos at J&L's wedding. I knew I had to make a change and I spent 18 months losing 75 pounds. I reached my goal weight in December 2015 through weight watchers and exercise. In January 2016 I decided to start running half marathons (because why not!) and this month will mark number 9 in Chicago! I'm going for at least 15 this year through Rock n Roll, so that puts me at 9/15 completed.

My Goal for the Month
I'm going to step it up and make my goal: At least 3 runs per week! As our first weigh-in won't happen until next weekend, that's 12 runs needed out of the month, so each run will count towards 1/12th of my goal.

Challenges
It's hot. I need to be held accountable. Thus, this program.

Overcoming the Goal
I've made a strict training plan and my husband will make sure I get out the door and actually do it. July 1st starts a new month - time to get serious! :)

Bonus Question:
Disneyland (and MK) give you two ways to get into the park - head left or right. We always head left, as this heads us into the park along the Frontierland/Adventureland side of the park. As this is our tradition, this is how we'll be touring this month!

I am 38 years old mum of one, full time working, love holidays, love the sun – but live in rainy Dublin

I looked at myfitness pal in the last 3 years and I found out have done 3 full weight loss, weight gain cycle so main focus for me is sustainability. I lost over 7kg since I joined the forums in April, 15.5 lbs! I am very happy with that, considering I had 2 birthdays and a 9 day vacation during this time. I took it little easier last month but I hope to lose another 2 kg this month.

BMI at start 24.9

BMI today 22.4

BMI end of month goal – 21.4

How I plan to do it

I use MFP to track calories and fitbit to track calories burned.

I would eat between 1400 to 1760 calories a day. 1760 is the maintenance level for my goal weight, so if I can’t eat below that I need to review long term goals!

I will do at least 115000 steps weekly as my steps fell down little last few weeks and it’s summer

I will do at least 2 weight lifting sessions at modest 30 minutes each per week

I will do at least 1 bodypump session a week

I will do at least 2 bodybalance, or yogalosophy workouts each week

I will do at least 6 lengths at the pool (50m pool, a length is 100 meters = back and forward)

In terms of food, I will continue eating a lot of vegies as they are really magic food when it comes to weight loss, lean proteins, fruit, as natural food as possible not forgetting sustainability and that good food can be tasty and healthy, but also a food that isn’t all that healthy can be enjoyed in moderation

That’s the plan!

I am super excited about updates from Disenleyland

MK – Left, AK – Left, HS – Right, Epcot Left

After a few months absence due to my Dad's health problems, I'm returning with renewed motivation to finally kick this extra weight to the curb! I'm basically the same weight I was in April's challenge - 150 - and would like to lose 5 pounds this month.

Intro - I'm an RN, working full time with a mixed schedule of both day and night shifts. I'm a wife, mother to 2 adult kids, and caretaker of my Dad ( along with my sister). He is fighting lung cancer and suffered a stroke a month ago. I've been a member of Weight Watchers on and off for several years and reached my goal of Lifetime several years ago.

Goal - 5pound wt loss
Plan -- follow WW, count points, and exercise
Obstacles - work schedule, busy taking care of my Dad
Overcoming obstacles - planning meals in advance, having water bottle with me, try to get adequate sleep

Intro-my name is Ashley and I'm 34. I'm mentally ill and unable to to work so I live with my parents in a small town in Iowa. I love reading amd watching sports.

Goal-I do non scale goals and mine for this month is to drink a liter of water every day.

My name is Lena. I am 29 years old and recently diagnosed with PCOS. I have had 10 miscarriages in the past 8.5 years. I am working on getting healthy with the help of WISH challenges and Weight Watchers.

I am also in FB accountability groups and we have decided to do a meet-up in 2019 for the F&W 1/2 Marathon. So I am starting out with some runs. On the 23rd of July, I will be running a 2 Mile Race. In July. In Kansas. I am Nuts. This is official. :)

My plan for the next 31 days is to make sure that EVERYTHING i eat is tracked on my app and in my WW tracking book. I also plan to walk 14,250 steps/10K every day. The Challenges I will face are weekends, so if i miss a day, I will have to walk longer on the next day. I have a pretty low key job - I run the Chamber of Commerce in a really small town, so I have lots of opportunities to walk and get steps in.

For the first week (2nd-10th) - I am on Vacation! But I am at home. We moved from Active Duty Military 5 years ago, and we have never really "moved in" to our home - it is still jsut a house currenlty, but we did some shopping at Walmart and I am excted to transform it this next week. That will DEFF keep me moving!

Bonus Question: (we have only been to wdw) We start at the RIGHT! We always go to Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin!

Love the photos Courtney - I am so freaking excited to see Disneyland with you this month - only problem will be I will want to come back! (well more than I already do lol).

Briefly Introduce Yourself.

Hello to all that know me already - for those who don't I am joining you from Australia. I am a 43 year old solo mum to 3 - DS 15, DS 12 and DD 12. I work full time as an Occupational Therapist. In the last couple of months I have weighed the most I ever have my highest has been 93kg or just over 205 pounds in your language - I just never pictured myself this way - I was always a thin child, teen and 20something - after having kids in my late 20s and early 30s and a bad relationship breakdown the weight has fluctuated .... sometimes stress worked for me and it fell off or I would emotionally eat or be lazy and fall into takeout ruts and gain a lot.

Briefly tell us your plan for the next 31 days, any potential struggles you'll face, and how you'll overcome them.

My goal for this month is: Walk 30 minutes a day 5 days a week - so that's 20 days in total.

Struggles I will face: Its winter here so it is much harder to get up in the mornings! Combined with the fact that I am not a person who naturally seeks activity it makes getting up and going hard..... Of course busy life with work, kids, elderly parents some days are just harder than others.

My plan to overcome them: I am going to time how long it takes to walk to the kids bus stop tomorrow and then see if I can build that in for when school goes back rather than drive them. Then I can walk them there and extend my walk on the way home. I am going to put a calendar on the fridge where I can see it to mark off my walk days - yes kind of like a kids star chart lol. I bought some new exercise leggings today to wear so hopefully the fact I spent money on them will guilt me into using them.

I still plan to track my food with MFP and work hard to stick to my eating plan. I am very keen to not regain the bit of weight I lost in June and would like to lose even more this month.

Bonus question: When you walk through the main gates, do you head right or left first?

I don't know why but I tend to gravitate to the right - did it on my very first visit sooo many years ago now and again when I brought the kids in 2014 I think we only went left one day and it felt weird lol.

Hi! I'm joining you from 3 hours south of the Florida Mouse House! DH and I work for his family business and try to go to Disney as much as possible. Since we got married 2 years ago, I have put on about 20 lbs (it was creeping up to 30 but I've gotten it down to 20). I am having trouble figuring out my new lifestyle as it relates to my new family dynamic and how to eat healthy and keep active. I mentioned last month, that we have been in the "honeymoon phase" where we just want to hang out together, watch tv, lay on the beach, or just be lazy after work. Despite working in the same building, I am mainly doing the behind the scenes work and he's out front, so we aren't in each other's business all day like one would think. Anyway, I don't like this sedentary lifestyle I've found myself in, so I am working to change it. We have been eating much better in the last few months, so this missing piece is getting myself active!

GOAL: (2) 1 hour sessions on the elliptical each week -- Last month I discovered how easily I could stay on the elliptical and not dread every minute of it once I put on a good show right in front of my face on the ipad haha!

Obstacles: I am soooo lazy! There, I said it! This is 100% a personal problem.

Overcoming: I am making this super obtainable to where I can't let my lazy self keep making excuses. Also, I am planning on rewatching Game of Thrones from the beginning to follow along with a podcast I subscribe to, so boom!-There is my hour! I just need to watch an episode. I am also going to restrict my episode watching to the elliptical so I can't cheat myself.

Bonus: MK - I always head straight through the castle to Fantasyland! EP: Left in WS for a margarita AK: Left towards the Safari and HS: Another straight through to Pixar Place!

Hello everyone!

My name is Patty. I'm 43, married and have three kids. I am a stay at home parent that earns some income. How's that for confusing? Basically, I'm self employed and while I do earn money through the year, I'm mostly at home.

I discovered the WISH boards in January when my weightloss needed a kick in the pants from the holidays. One year ago this month I came home from an Orlando vacation and got serious about losing weight. My "rock bottom" moment was when I was almost not allowed to ride Forbidden Journey at Universal Islands of Adventure. It was horrifying for me. One of the cast members made me exit the ride car, but I was able to try again on another car and fit, so I did ride, but the "almost too big for the modified seating" was enough. I logged my first meal in MFP on July 6th last year.

Over the year, I have lost just over 100lbs. I have celebrated with this group when I hit some big milestones - going from having a 2 as the first number of my weight to a 1, losing 100lbs and moving from obese to overweight (just barely - BMI sitting at 29.9 this morning). Can't wait to celebrate with all of you as you reach your goals!

My Plan: I really liked my goal last month, and I'm going to do a repeat: 140 minutes active minutes/day according to my fitbit. I still have @40lbs to go to be at a healthy weight, possibly more depending upon how I feel at that point and I think I need a break from being a slave to the scale. Last month I missed 10 days due to vacation, but this month, I don't see any huge obstacles. With activity will come weight loss, I hope.

The only struggles will be poor planning. That's where I first ran into trouble at the theme parks (then I sort of just let the goal go when I was on the ship). I was literally busy until midnight and because I didn't plan better in the early morning, making my goal became next to impossible. So I will try to get in at least half, ideally 90 minutes of activity before noon each day so that getting the remainder of my minutes is manageable and not too stressful.

Bonus - when I walk through the main gates, we initially head left to go to guest services and renew my daughter's DAS pass, but when we walk into the park for rides, we go straight through the castle so we can start in Fantasyland!

Hey guys!

@courtneybeth, thanks for leading us around DL this month! I'm still at the entrance to the esplanade, so I guess I'll have to hustle to get myself through the gates and catch up with you.
(The above picture is actually the first picture ever taken of me on Disneyland property)

For those of you who don't know me yet, I'm Sarah. I'm 29 (gonna be 30 next month ... ahhhhh!!), fairly unemployed (and not happy about it), and I live with my parents and two siblings in the 'burbs of NYC (I technically live within the borders of NYC, but I'm in a very suburban area that's not really what you think of when you think NYC). I've been doing these challenges on and off for just short of two years now (almost as long as I've been on the boards), and while I haven't been as great about losing weight as I should be, I love having a group of people who motivate and support me (and I love being able to support others on their journeys!).
My weight loss goals didn't start with any one thing - I was never really heavy, but I always knew that I wanted to be a little thinner. I've been trying to lose weight since high school, with some ups and some downs (some of which were medication-related). My ultimate goal is to get down to 120 lbs, but I think I'd be okay if I settled around 125-127 lb, which is about where I was in college. I weighed in at 145.5 lb this AM, so ... only 25.5 lb to go!

My goal for the month is a super ambitious one for me - 5 lbs. I don't think I've ever lost 5 lb in a month. I don't know if I'll be able to do it. What I do know is that after a few unsuccessful months, I need to make some big changes, and I think that a big goal is the best way to get me there.

My exercise plan for the month is 3 days of running per week (for a total of 10-15 miles, divided up differently based on the week and the weather) and 3 days of non-running exercise per week (including at least 2 days of cross-training, and the third day can be either cross-training or walking depending on how I feel). I also need to do some stretching/flexibility every day, and I plan to do my knee exercises every other day (a nice leftover from my most recent round of knee problems).
In terms of a food plan ... I don't follow a particular diet, but I do try to make conscious choices with my eating. I definitely need to work on my food tracking. The current plan is to track breakfast before bed, lunch after breakfast, and dinner after I fill my plate but before I eat (because half the time I have my cell phone at the dinner table anyway). We'll see if this works well for me, and if I'm still struggling, I'll try something else mid-month.
I'm also mandating "Sarah fun time." I'm doing a three day alternating cycle - one day Netflix, one day reading, and one day religious studies. Last month I struggled with taking time to myself, but these are things that I can do as Sarah Time but can also incorporate into my daily to-do list, so hopefully it will give me a 30-60 minute period of calm even on my most hectic days.
Another thing I want to do to help keep me on track is start a journal for my healthy lifestyle and general life stuff. The plan is to write something each day about my exercise, my eating, and some general thoughts about the day and my mood. I've done it before and I think it helped, but I stopped because I didn't feel like I needed it anymore. Now I think I do need it again. So I'm going to try starting it up again. I'm doing things a little differently than I did last time, so I'm still ironing out the kinks in this idea a bit.

My biggest obstacle is that I get in my own head. I can make good choices. I can say no to temptations. But then I tell myself ... why should I want to? Especially because I'm just going to fail at this anyway. There's a voice in my head that tells me it's not even worth trying.
Overcoming that obstacle ... is dang near impossible. But I'm working on it and trying to ignore the voice in my head telling me to just give up.

Bonus question: When you walk through the main gates, do you head right or left first?

I don't really know my right from my left, but I think we go right. Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters is our favorite "first attraction" at DL.
(We do the same thing at MK ... go right and start with Buzz)

On the 23rd of July, I will be running a 2 Mile Race. In July. In Kansas. I am Nuts. This is official. :)

You're not alone. There are lots of nuts runners here. Welcome to the club!

Bonus Question: (we have only been to wdw) We start at the RIGHT! We always go to Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin!

YES!!! Best way to start!!

---

Hey guys! Happy Friday and Happy Canada Day to any Canadians we may have here! Reading through and typing up my intro has taken up more time than I thought it would, so I don't really have time to chat now, but maybe I'll be back later. In case I'm not ... have a great weekend, everyone!

HELLO EVERYONE, AND WELCOME TO THE FIRST DAY OF THIS FUN TOUR OF DISNEYLAND.

With our tickets in hand and we will walk through the main gates together and begin our walking tour
and journey to a better you! While we wait for the rest of our party to join us and we get this

Question(s) Of the Day:

Briefly Introduce Yourself.
Briefly tell us your plan for the next 31 days, any potential struggles you'll face, and how you'll overcome them.

Bonus question: When you walk through the main gates, do you head right or left first?

Well I introduced myself yesterday. I was too excited to get into Disneyland:-). I have decided that my goal for this month is to get 10,000 steps a day and to work out at least twice a week. I will have some huge hurdles with this. As I mentioned I have lost a lot of me time and will have a hard time fitting everything in. I will also have to keep myself motivated at night to get everything done.

My plan is to walk from my car to my office and then from my office to the car every day i work unless it is raining. This will give me about 3,000+ steps a day. I am also going to get back to walking 250 steps every hour. This adds up quickly. I am also going to try and walk on my lunch break. After I get home and finish up therapy exercises with my daughter I will go for a walk to get the last of my steps. If it is too crummy out I will walk/pace the in side of the house. To get the workouts in, I will try and get to the rec. I do much better at the rec. If I can't I will work out using the Wii or Xbox after the kids go to bed and before I sit down and start watching tv.

We tend to always go to the right or straight at MK.

I have to admit that I am feeling a bit burned out from coaching last month, so I was considering just lurking this month's. But I decided to at least commit to a goal: lose 1.8 kg. This will bring me back down to a "normal" BMI. Obstacles this month will be that my BF arrives on Thursday (we have a long distance relationship) and stays for July and August, so more event eating. But he is also great at motivating me and his presence helps me to avoid evening snacking, so hopefully his presence will be more of a bonus than an obstacle!

You guys are awesome - it was so much fun to wake up and read the replies. I may have to post the Question of the Day before I go to bed so I can wake up and read all of the fun. Sounds like we're all starting to gather at the train station -- which is great! :)

I love reading all of these goals - I'm going to have to mail lots of maps and pins this month!! The chatter is making me excited and I am looking forward to a very fun month on here... and now, the replies to all of your lovely comments!

BMI at start 24.9

BMI today 22.4

BMI end of month goal – 21.4

1 BMI point is very doable. You've done such great work so far and you'll definitely continue the momentum. Welcome back to another month - let me know how I can best cheerlead you! :)

After a few months absence due to my Dad's health problems, I'm returning with renewed motivation to finally kick this extra weight to the curb! I'm basically the same weight I was in April's challenge - 150 - and would like to lose 5 pounds this month.

Welcome back! I'm sorry that your father was having health problems - I hope he's feeling better and you're okay too :) I am so jazzed to read about your motivation to lose those 5 pounds - you can totally do it!!!

Goal-I do non scale goals and mine for this month is to drink a liter of water every day.

This is such a struggle for me -- like @JacknSally I forget to drink water until I am suddenly thirsty because my mouth is dry. Then it becomes a Mountain Dew and I'm not being healthy. Please keep me updated on your progress and your tactics for accomplishing this goal because I'd love to follow in your footsteps.

My name is Lena. I am 29 years old and recently diagnosed with PCOS. I have had 10 miscarriages in the past 8.5 years. I am working on getting healthy with the help of WISH challenges and Weight Watchers.

Hi Lena, welcome to the challenge - I don't think we've seen you around here before. I wanted to share that I, too, have PCOS and I'm unable to have children. You have a kindred spirit and a friend here on the boards - it can be so difficult physically and emotionally to handle all of that. Please let me know how I can encourage you to help you meet your goals this month!

On the 23rd of July, I will be running a 2 Mile Race. In July. In Kansas. I am Nuts. This is official. :)

This made me laugh so hard - I'm doing 13 miles the week before in Chicago. So clearly we are both nutty. Best of luck in your race and see if you can PR!

My goal for this month is: Walk 30 minutes a day 5 days a week - so that's 20 days in total.

I love your goal - I have to remember that you're in probably the coldest month of the year 'down under' while we're all feeling the pains of Summer here in the USA. You can totally do it - just wear a scarf or go to a shopping mall to do your steps ;)

I don't know why but I tend to gravitate to the right - did it on my very first visit sooo many years ago now and again when I brought the kids in 2014 I think we only went left one day and it felt weird lol.

What side of the park do you exit on - right or left? We tend to enter left and exit right. I wonder if there's a science to this - we also do EPCOT starting in Canada most of the time too.

Honesty is the first step in making a change - so this cracked me up! You can totally do this!!!

Uh hi, this was something I wanted to do. Now that GOT is in a place where a chapter has closed and the conclusion is on the horizon, I want to do this because I feel like I've missed so much watching it only once. Each episode is about an hour so you'll be done with this in no time.

I didn't know that this was a thing. Yikes. I'm glad that you were able to fit - but I cannot imagine how you felt going through that experience.

@courtneybeth, thanks for leading us around DL this month! I'm still at the entrance to the esplanade, so I guess I'll have to hustle to get myself through the gates and catch up with you.
(The above picture is actually the first picture ever taken of me on Disneyland property)

Hi @SarahDisney - I see you're joining us from the other entrance! Were you staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel when you took that photo - because it looks like the bus entrance (or if you're coming from the Toy Story lot). I usually come in from the Downtown Disney entrance because we park in the Mickey & Friends structure.

You can totally do this.... you got this. It's just 1 pound per week :)

You're our resident "early arriver" of the group - when I got to the flower bed you were packed and ready to go! :) Good luck with your exercise - you will totally be able to do it, especially if you have two days of dedicated workouts. :D

Coaching definitely takes a lot out of you -- you did a wonderful job and we appreciate the hard work and thought-provoking questions you put into each Question of the Day.

I'm excited that the BF is coming to visit - please keep us updated of your adventures and maybe share a picture of you two!

Yup, that's the entrance on Harbor. We have yet to stay at at Disneyland hotel - the good neighbors are just so much cheaper! Our first trip we were just a few hotels down from this entrance. Last trip (2012) we came in through DTD because we were staying on Katella and it was closer. So I've experienced both ways in.

Uh... Sorry about the wait to get started. Things got a little "crowded" as we waited for July 1.
(Actual picture taken by yours truly about a month ago on a random Saturday morning - thanks metal detectors!)

HELLO EVERYONE, AND WELCOME TO THE FIRST DAY OF THIS FUN TOUR OF DISNEYLAND.

Today we begin our tour of Disneyland at the very beginning of the park: The MAIN ENTRANCE.

With our tickets in hand and we will walk through the main gates together and begin our walking tour
and journey to a better you! While we wait for the rest of our party to join us and we get this
crazy thing underway, let's have you take a moment to introduce yourself.

Question(s) Of the Day:

Briefly Introduce Yourself.
Briefly tell us your plan for the next 31 days, any potential struggles you'll face, and how you'll overcome them.

Bonus question: When you walk through the main gates, do you head right or left first?

HI Gang, I am Michelle, Wife to my chef Hubs, Mom of 2 grown children (DD 22 and DS 19) and to one kitty cat Hunny Girl. I'm very close with my family - talk to my mother and sister daily (my dad sometimes haa but my mom keeps him updated) My hubs just bought us a new house - we went from a 12x60 1972 mobile in a Park to a 14x68 2004 on our own .5 acres of land ..3/4 of mile from the Park where we use to live HAAAAAA but anyway.. I work as a paper pusher in a disability insurance co for a JOB, it pays my bills and affords us some trips to Disney (or a cushion for when our cars breakdown or kids need $$) I have been on this weight loss journey for a long time .. 3/4/2009 I weighed my highest 212.2 and as of my last DR appt on 4/8/16 I was down to 173.0 I have been up and down on this journey but been in the 180-170 range for the past year.. Now that my life has settled I am ready to tackle this once again.. I did join my at work WW (20 weeks!) but have to get myself to the meetings - I normally go Sat am and need to get back to that habit..

Ok GOALS ... 1. go to WW every Sat this month and weigh in.. I have nothing on Sat am except sleep that would prevent me from going.. so 5 weigh ins at my local center.. I love that Sat am leader, she is a hoot and her real life stories and enthusiasm is awesome.. I will report this goal every Monday as I don't have a home computer and using my phone on the Dis is painful..
GOAL 2. hula hoop for 15 mins per day 3 times a week .. I have a bigger space and central air so there is no excuse for that either.. I do no exercise now at all so this will be a good starting point. I will do this Mon - Wed - Fri , so first one is up tonight..

Bonus -- at MK we go straight thru the hub to the new Fantasyland, in Epcot we head right in future world in circle around for the morning then in the afternoon we hit the WS and go left starting in Mexico, in AK we head left towards the safari, and in HS we head right towards toy story mania..

Looking forward to our Disneyland tour as I have never been here, thanks @courtneybeth .. Michelle
