Is disney buying any pvb contracts back since they are still selling the resort? We want a good deal but do not want disney to rofr on us! I don't see any on the first page. Wondering what a good offer price is?

There are very few pvb out there in the resale market. I would say try $145 to discount for the extra benefits you won't get. You might be better off to buy direct at $168 and get the promo with benefits. They are not going to Rofr these contracts.

We bought PVB at $145 & would have pulled out and bought direct had we not been grandfathered (the resale changes came while we were waiting to close). I can't imagine they'll ROFR unless something reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally low comes through.

Us too!!!! We have a very similar contract we submitted for SSR... $85/75 points. We submitted 4/26, so I will let you know if we hear anything!!!

I'm sure this has been posted before, but for those of you that haven't seen it...Apr 2016 DVC Resale Market only had 2 ROFR taken. Less than 2% of their total sales...and the last 3 months they have been BLT, OKW, and SSR only.

As I understand it, if you already own you're grandfathered even if you buy more points resale. No guarantee they won't change that in the future, but at this point you're good.

First time going through this process and I think I've aged 10 years in the past 10 days! The waiting is excruciating and I've become obsessed with reading everything I can. So far these boards have been the one thing that help...along with a cocktail or two so I decided to participate rather than just stalk.
