SPRINKLES

My wife got a free cupcake for her birthday and that's the only
way we feel these are worth it. Not bad, good frosting but for what they
charge should be much larger. IT'S A CUPCAKE.




Filling was nicely filled. Frosting was great. Cake was good and moist.
Great value as it was FREE. Nice thing too, they do not have to give you birthday
punches when you redeem your free b-day cupcake.

SLEEPY HOLLOW


Every trip it's a must, breakfast corndog & funnel cake.
Never falters best hotdog in all of the lands and yes dipping the hotdog & funnel cake into
the syrup is bliss.
Chips could have used any seasoning. someone was lazy. usually they are wonderful.
Funnel cake is perfect. we never seem to get enough of them during our trip.
Oddly I never feel sleepy after eating here, they should be slipping a micky into the batter...
Only two funnel cakes this trip, December we will strive for more.

We love having icy cold frozen drinks and this one really hit the spot.
We did have it a few times during the 2 week trip but one pic is enough.

SATU'LI CANTEEN


Another must have every trip. This time we got all the sauces on the side and makes it even better.
You can dip it as you wish and I like to take a bite with a different sauce on each bite.

The hotdog is a masterful meaty shaft of magnificence that delights mouths here to Pandora.
Not sure why it's so good, but it is. So shove the meat into your meathole and enjoy.

THE FOODS
SALADS & BISCUITS:

Kale salad was not bad, much better than expected
Tomato salad was great, very fresh and tossed in a light dressing.
Watermelon was perfectly sweet and cold.
Now to the best biscuits we ever had. Just WOW. looked unassuming but tasted blissful.
The pepper-jelly was outstanding and used it for everything. Worked in harmony for the pickles.
I asked for butter and tried it with the jelly and even better. Creamy and zingy.
Shocked how good it was starting off
THE SIDES:

Loved them, albeit a tad salty. Really dug the cheese and goddess dressing on it.

I thought it was gonna be basic but it was best potato salad I ever had.
Creamy without being overladen with mayo. Seasoning was spot on.

Most readers know my affinity for pickles, so when you fry them and allow me to eat
as much as I can without vomiting we have a delightful agreement. I loved these oh so much.
Still held on to the strong dill flavoring and batter was better than any others I can recall.
I would come back for these anytime. Pickles are LIFE...
We expected lackluster but instead got holy crap its good.
A bit over salted but sweating your sack off it helps anyway.
Its up there with Liberty Tree for best Mac,
I love Homecomin' but that's a different animal.

Corn was okay, not bad but didn't waste the space in the stomach on it.

THE MEATS:

All of it was good, ranking of my favorite:
1.brisket
2. sausage
3.ribs
4.chicken
Bonus, the wonderful peppers in the middle. I really enjoyed them.

I usually do not care about salmon but my wife wanted to try it,
plus its included. She loved it, I did like it, but only a taste since those pickles
were staring at me to eat them ALL.

ALL THE DESSERTS:

We loved all of them, I thought the cupcake was gonna be a basic lil'BS
but it was great. Even Forky the cookie was good. Forky was looking like I can't believe
you ate all those pickles partner.
I liked in order:
1. apple pie
2. cupcake
3.peach straw
4. choc silk
5. lemon blueberry.

This is now a MUST on every trip. It's in our top 5 as well.
Do not mosey on down here, get on your horsey and giddy up here quickly.
I am glad RoundUp the lawn spray company did not sponsor this restaurant since
that would have sucked. Will be seeing you in December partner......

Love all of your reviews....Dumb question.....I see that you got 5 sides for the bbq. Did they allow you to add that extra one at the beginning of the order or did they actually make you order it, after your food came?

Thanks for the review love. We ordered 4 up front and she asked right after placing it what else we wanted so we added the corn. I asked when ordering the desserts for all of them, she said no prob cowpoke.

So wonderful. I love bubbies as well. I even drink the brine afterwards. I think its the best pickle brine plus it is naturally fermented so probiotics!!!

Back at it
Even though we own here as well we always have to stop by when we're not staying
RIVIERA PRIMO PIATTO:

Last Sept when staying here this shrimp were wonderful and still are.
Little snack to hold us till dinner.




Best cookie ever. Love these so hard. last trip we brought home 3 4 pack boxes and froze
them and just finished the last one a few weeks before this trip, so we needed more...

POLITE PIG

This is always a must on every trip.


Every time always excellent and this time no different


Seen the chicken tenders in someones video and had to tack it on
to the gluttony. Just okay. Little dry but the breading was good.
Fries very similar to any other waffle fry. Good tasting.
Will be back in December, until then my scrumptious little piggy...

We seen this recently added to the menu and it looked great.
It was a good snack to split. Lots of cheese and good garlic flavors.
I liked the sauce it had some zip to it. Little on the high side for a cheese garlic
knot but glad we tried it. Pizza here is also a solid choice BTW.

PADDLEFISH




Good fresh cold crisp salad. Great dressing and perfect bacon.


Wife's shrimp. She loved it and I had one and it was very good. The chips though were
insanely good. Plus look at the view.


My burger was good, medium on the inside like I asked. I like pimento cheese but for a
burger not the best choice. Good fries. Pickles were good but I prefer a full strong dill/garlic
pickles and these had a slight sweetness. I still ate them, what you think I am some kind of
heathen to leave any behind.


Wife loved it. I liked it a bit but not a huge fan of keylime pie. Still very good.
Plus if you squint you can see our room to the far left.
This was our first time trying Paddlefish and glad we did. Still love Boathouse more but for
sure come back some time.

My plate, everything was good, loved the pancake & waffle.
Usually I prefer bacon over sausage but got sausage twice. I needed more
sausage in my mouth so I did it. Wife got some other stuff and we tried most of it
just never took pics of each plate full. But the full buffet was covered.

The chocolate brioche was very good, most of the other desserts just okay.



Well worth the cost for sure. Took an uber over from Saratoga only a few bucks for the
ride.
