I have been going Aulani for 2-3 times a year, the past several years and the chair situation has been getting worse. Actually got into argument with another persons because we only had 1 chair and needed another. No one was using this chair for over an hour, it had only used pool towels on it. I put the towels in the towel bin and used the chair. The couple returns and starts grumbling and complaining that I took their chair. Well, I guess I did but they broke the rules. Longer than an hour! They said they were swimming! But they were dry and dressed like they just came from lunch at a restraunt. Liars!
People are just to greedy and want and take so much from everywhere. That is why the Hawaiian people get tired of "tourists" expecting to have their cake and eat it too. I have seen hordes of people take more than enough chairs for their party and not even use half of them. Greedy, plain and simple. Everybody pays to stay at the resort. Show some aloha, after all you are in Hawaii.
But hard to expect that from "visitors." Haole means foreigner FYI.
If the resort made lockers, that would help so much as we don't always need a chair and just want some place to store a few things.
