To this day, I "double check" all the bathrooms BEFORE we leave the house!

I do the same thing.I always worry when we are away for the weekend and Nick is home by himself. Once you have it happen you get a little paranoid.

But they spent a quiet morning at the Lodge and now at Disney Springs...it's been a few years since they've eaten at T-Rex :

Luckily is was clean water and not sewer water . It overflowed while filling back up. At least that is one good thing.

Well that stinks. How did you do with all of the storms today?

We did not get much. My mom lives in Lakeland and they had some strong winds. They had some power outages and trees down.

Hope all that gets taken care of soon. What a mess! We've had a similar problem...toilet bowl BUSTED! Popped really, really loud and scared the dickens out of us! Thank goodness we were here and managed to stop the water flowing before it got to the bedroom carpet! Also had the flapper get stuck too but not as bad a problem as you had! To this day, I "double check" all the bathrooms BEFORE we leave the house!

Trust me, both toliets are getting new flappers and will be double checking each flush, at least for a while. Thank goodness no one was sitting on yours when it busted!
