I asked for clarification and was told it only worked for the cards listed. The register isn't prompting the cashier to give a gift card. I believe Target screwed up one way or another but once I was told that, I wasn't going to pursue it.

If I had been told that I would have not insisted or thrown a fit. I would have tried another store, LOL. I just picked up 8 more cards tonight at a different store by simply asking the same thing and pointing out the ad.

Perhaps I need to brush up my "try again" skills.

I did not then, but I have it pulled up now. The Cyber Week one said "select" and that was the one at the register. I will bring the weekly one that says says "any."

Is anyone STILL waiting for the coupon? I am and the phone lines are jammed with their Cyber Monday site crash....

I still have not received my coupon from either order I placed. I did not think today would be a good day to call so I was going to call tomorrow. However, someone mentioned in another thread that they called and the CSR said gift card orders were not eligible for the coupon, which is what both my orders were, so not sure it's worth calling for me.

I am still waiting, but I ordered 3 items to make my $75 total and so far it looks like they will be in 3 separate shipments, and I don't think I will get the 20% off coupon until ALL items ship. So far only 2 of mine have.

There are several Target cards on raise right now for 3 percent off but they're all for $1000

I am still waiting, but I ordered 3 items to make my $75 total and so far it looks like they will be in 3 separate shipments, and I don't think I will get the 20% off coupon until ALL items ship. So far only 2 of mine have.

One of my orders was for prepaid phone cards and they shipped yesterday. The other was for an emailed gift card and it 'shipped' on BF so I think I am just out of luck. I tried to find the exclusions for the coupon before BF and could never find that gift cards were not eligible so I just bought those. If I had known, I would have ordered actual items b/c I had things I could have bought. So, I'm bummed. I wanted that coupon but I cannot argue with them since my purchase wasn't technically eligible.

If your order truly is eligible, I'd be calling and raising a ruckus lol. The order confirmation said the coupon would be sent on the 28th. I'm sure they knew they would not have all orders completed and shipped by then.

OOh, OK good to know. My 3 items were all what I would call "regular" merchandise (no gift card) so I am thinking I'll give them another day to actually send the last item and then raise a fuss!

I'm going to try this tomorrow since I need to get Christmas Cards anyway. I have about $600.00 Target GC balance, I wonder if they're willing to honor it and also let me use Target GC. Not going to make a big deal if no go, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask!

I never got to use my raise $10, ugh! Nor the one my DD25 had. I kept checking thru out the afternoon, and all evening at work, whenever I could refresh the page. There were lots of $1000 and $2000 cards, nothing lower than $365. I checked all the way thru midnight. If there was anything around $100, I must have missed it, I guess. Disappointed as that was ten percent on a hundred even without any other discount.

So, is the $5 target gc on purchase of 2 $25 or higher cards still available they Wednesday? Can't go til then and we leave next morning for WDW! I'm going to point out the ad and see what they say. Don't know if they have $25 cards or not, and wonder if they do, if I can purchase several sets of two cards rather than having to do all in one order? Is there a limit?

Also, for that deal, is there an in store flyer to grab or just bring up the ad on the phone? I don't want to make a huge fuss, but it does say "any" on the ad I saw and they should have to honor that.

I'm confused. I bought $75 of Target gift cards on BF (using Target gift cards) and got the coupon.
