This would be awesome if they follow through with this!! Now if they would only do a test on getting rid of the tier system in DHS and Epcot .

I think they "tested" that already. And it's why the tiers were added.

How are you able to get the 4th one of you already have 3 booked? I already have my 3 FPs for May so I don't want to mess up the ones I already have. When I log onto the MDE app, it only shows me my original 3.

It is reportedly a test for just this weekend.

I just tried in MDE, and was allowed to choose 3, and then Monster's Inc. was added as a 4th. I was able to go in and modify the Monster's Inc. to something else. But the interesting thing is I clicked the wrong date (Monday instead of today) and now have 4 FP+s for Monday!


ETA: But I did try 30 days out, and could only do 3.

ETA2: And I tried for Tuesday, but it only gives 3. So the test must be running through Monday.

BTW, FoF was showing as available for Monday, though I was only searching for one person.

Gotcha. I think I misread some of the posts. I thought those that had FPs for May already were able to go in and saw a fourth one automatically.

This could set up an interesting social experiment. People who book in advance get 3. People who book for today get 4, but risk not getting 100% of what they want. Which would you choose?

That would be an interesting experiment, I can see how it could be fair for those that don't plan ahead and get their FPs on the day of, but then again I could also see some people getting upset by that too. It wouldn't really bother me, per se, if they decided to do it that way, just as long as they don't take away the 4th, 5th, etc..FPs. I also wonder if this is something to do with a new perk for onsite guests.....if you stay onsite, then you can get 4 FPs on the day of and only get 3 if you are staying offsite...you know bringing back the speculation of a guest/resort tier system for FPs.

How does everyone feel about AP's getting a choice of four or five then people planning ahead also get a choice of four or five and then people coming into the park the day of only getting 3? Too confusing? Thoughts please

I would be thrilled with four! And the ability to choose additional fp+ on my phone! By July!

I would take park hopping fp over 4
Even if it was just 1, a 4th at a second park
Would be easy to implement too since they know exactly what ticket you have in your account

But the crowds are expected to be high correct ?

Don't get me wrong I am all for increasing FPs available, but I would think increasing the FP pre-booking during high crowds would potentially have some negative consequences. Even longer SB lines, less availability for those who didn't book in advance, etc. ??

I thought this might have been something they would do during low crowds ...
