I can only speak for the breakfast platter... From multiple experiences, yes you could certainly order it for one It's nothing extraordinary, but it's a really great bang for the buck for breakfast if you are hungry. Apart from CP, it is my favorite place for breakfast, especially when the CMs do a little of the Whispering Canyon shtick to get you in a good mood for the day.
As for the dinner platter, I suppose you could. While I haven't had it at WC, I have been to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue solo and it has much of the same offerings there (all-you-care-to-enjoy). All I can say is you better come hungry with the amount of different food options; it is ALOT of food!
If your wallet and your stomach can handle it, I'd say go for it. You are on vacay, so you might as well treat yourself!
I'm a big guy and can eat quite a bit, but my eyes are always larger than my stomach. Those aycte meals always put me in my place haha
I am going to HDDR for my second time coming up in a few weeks. I was nervous to do a dinner show for the longest time, but finally decided to go back in August. It is such a great time! I am sure you will enjoy it
DW and I were there last year but she has so many dietary restrictions the platter was not an option. Our server told me she could bring me a platter for one but I decided to get something ala carte as I knew I couldn't do justice to the platter.
If you do order the platter for one, let your server know if you won't eat any of the included items, so they can leave it off when they bring the platter out.
