We are sitting at 84, calling for 90's tomorrow. Mother Nature is definitely confused

Got groceries and did errands. Then stopped at the flower place. I could have spent hours and a lot more money there than I did. I got 4 plants each of 6 different varieties of tomatoes, 2 rosemary plants, 2 trays of Wave Petunias and 2 single pots of another color. Got 4 sweet potato plants for the greenery they provide (2 purple and 2 green) . Also Got 2 flats of different kinds of flowers to put in the hanging pots with the petunias, in the flower boxes on the side of the house, and some next to the new rose bushes.. They have the nicest healthiest flowers and plants and their prices are excellent. Everything I got only cost me $35.

Time to feed the cats and decide what I want for dinner. I'm hungry, lol

Have a nice rest of the day

Good morning.:sunny:

Everything I got only cost me $35.
How in the world!!!!! A tray of wave petunias normally runs me $18 and that's getting them at the $1 sale. Your area has amazing prices.

It's hot!! Supposed to be 86 today, and I still haven't turned on my air 🥵. I just have fans in the main rooms. I need to get something for the kitchen because it's hot in there. I think tomorrow the temps are supposed to start getting back to normal when the rain comes in.🌧️

Ran to Home Depot and got my top soil after work yesterday. I'll get my flowers and tomatoes next week and start planting next weekend 🌺. Mitchell usually gets my ferns for the front porch for Mother's Day but I found them at Krogers last weekend on sale for $10. I couldn't pass that up so I went ahead and got them.

Watched Survivor last night, okay with who went home. It's getting down to the finals so the really good players are getting voted out 😕. I'll catch The Amazing Race tonight when I get home.

Have a great day!

Good morning. Going to be a hot spring/summer day. Calling for 92 or higher. So far I haven't the ac on, but it may go on today. I just realized I have one small flower bed left to week, it has my 2 older rose bushes and my columbine's. I keep forgetting it's on the other side of the shed, lol.

@footballmouse I watched Survivor too, and I was happy about who went home. Yet another blindside, is the jury going to be full of people who have their idol's as a souvenir? At the flower place, the rosemary plants were only $.99, the 4 pack of tomato plants (all nice and big and healthy) were only $1.79 each. The 'spikes', were $.99 and the flowers were $1.49 a pot. The petunia's were only $6.50 a flat. I thought they were mismarked, but they had a ton of them, and they were literally on everyone's wagons. Maybe because of the amount of them he gets, he can afford to sell them at a really decent price. Not sure, but I'm not complaining, lol.

I mowed with the rider last night around 7:30 when it had cooled down. The neighbor was planting his garden at the same time. Neither of us wanted to do it today in the hot sun.

Summer went to the store with me yesterday and all she did was whine about bills, and is now saying that her car (the one with the new tires), needs brakes. Sorry, but the Bank of Lynn is out of business. I have my own bills to pay.

I'm going to go out and do that last flower bed and then plant the flowers I got yesterday. 2 hanging pots on shepherds hooks will go on either side of the front circular bed, some will go by the new roses and some by the new rose bushes. So far the gardenia is taking hold, even had another open blossom yesterday.
Have a great Thursday

Good morning. It is 47 now with temps heading into the 60s. The ride into work yesterday was not too bad except it seems like there are more tractor trailers on the road at 5 am now. Busy day so the time at work just flew. I hope today will be a bit less busy. No real plans for the weekend. I will get more ready for the Disney trip. I want to get to Kenny's kids baseball game tomorrow morning. Not sure if I will be seeing Jeff and kids this weekend. I didn't see them last weekend so I hope they have some time for me. Charlotte has a dance recital in 2 weeks and we will be celebrating Luke and Sam's birthdays the same day. Something to look forward to. Tomorrow they are coming to put drains in the window wells. Lately I have not been getting water into the windows during rain storms but I think that is because they are not as heavy or as frequent. If we get a few days of heavy rain I am sure water would come in. I hope the drains help. Next week they are coming to paint the deck door and trim as they only have primer on them now. I have bugged the punch list lady for the past month for these things. It is hard to have to keep asking over and over again for things that are part of the deal. Every one has the same issue.

Off to work. Have a good day.

Happy Friday!:sunny:

Temps cooling off today but rain is supposed to start this afternoon ☔. I work this weekend so I didn't pay attention what the weather is going to be like over the weekend.

Picked up a toy for Mia that I got off of Marketplace last night. She lived close so I was willing to pay the $5. If they aren't close to me then it isn't worth the money.

Got caught up on The Amazing Race last night. That's all I watched, was in bed at 9:00.

Snowysmom - Have fun at the baseball game tomorrow morning. ⚾

Have a great day!

Hi! Just catching up on reading here. We will swim and relax at the resort. Driving into Ponce yesterday was nerve racking…all signs are in Spanish, and Wayz ( sp ) is in English, but the narrow streets weren’t easy to negotiate.

We did enjoy some ice cream…coconut cream was yummy.

But boy did it melt fast! Tom had to get wet paper towels to wipe the steering wheel.

We have a new house minder, JoJo, and she texted me that things are going well. We board the Magic tomorrow!

Good day. My DSis, Nancy, arrived in Poland! She’s found the RR station, and says she’s said ”Dziękuję” that’s Thank you! hundreds of times. She’s thrilled to be there!

Good afternoon. I just realized I never checked in. I haven't stopped since I got up.
It's sunny and 80, but we're expecting rain for the next few days, maybe all of next week.

I had bought 2 92" shepherd hooks to use for my hanging flowers. I got them on Amazon warehouse because they were $15 cheaper than buying them on the regular page. I had already gotten a 72" one for my bird feeder a couple of weeks ago. Since the poles come apart, you can adjust them to the size you want. I open the boxes this morning and put one together and it's only 48" tall. The second set didn't even have the right pole in it and it looked used. I got on amazon chat, and he told me to contact the seller. I try and the page says Amazon responsible for shipping so contact Amazon service. The guy left for a few minutes and when he came back, he said I just put the amount of $31.49 back on your Visa.

So I used the 48" one with one of the pots and put it next to the birdbath in the big front circle of plants. It looks fine there, but I really wanted to put one at each end of the mulched bush area to the left and right of the front steps.
I ended up putting the other pot on the table on the front porch.

Just planted petunia's in the side planter boxes, stripped the bed and washed the sheets. I quit for the day.

Have a nice rest of your Friday

Quiet afternoon thread save. I enjoyed some extra sleep after lunch. I am so extra grateful to God for all sleep and rest. I am blessed to get close to 7 or 8 hours of sleep a day, times are just spread out. God willing of course when I am back to normal, my sleep cycle wil my sleep cycle will become so too. :grouphug:to.all.

Good morning. Happy travels to all who are out and about. It is 43 degrees here now going into the upper 50s today. It will be a bit chilly for the kids' baseball game but they will be running around. Tomorrow I will be seeing Jeff and Sam and Charlotte. The older 2 have activities. I am just glad to be able to visit. I have been continuing to get ready for my trip and even thinking about the cruise in August and what I will need. I am glad we do not have to fly to get to the port. Kenny has already reserved parking at the official lot near the ship. I have had a couple of bad days so I am continuing trying to get some positivity into my life. Easier said than done many days. I am hoping the Disney trip brings a break from reality and when I come back I can use that to be a bit more positive.

My window well drains are supposed to be installed today. I won't be around alot but they work outside. My neighbor told me it is a noisy activity as the neighbor beside her had it done and it was a racket.

Have a nice Saturday.

Good morning and Happy Derby Day!
It started raining after dinner last night and supposed to continue all weekend. So far it's a nice light rain, and I'm actually glad to see it. It means no outdoor work this weekend, lol

Temp yesterday was mid 80's, today will be mid to upper 50's, then start warming up again.
Caught up on a lot of shows last night, dvr is almost empty again

Nothing new going on around here.

Have a nice day
