Fort Lauderdale to Miami Airport

Has anyone ever got off cruise in Fort Lauderdale and then flew out of Miami. Needing recommendations on how to get there please. Uber? Taxi? And how long will I need?

I’ve done it the opposite way: flown out of FLL for a Miami cruise. (Used Brightline train two cruises). Stayed in Fort Lauderdale for another and used shared van shuttle.

Look for a shuttle/ shared van. Uber/Lyft. Private car service. These are easiest by not having to transfer.

Brightline train + Tri-Rail or Uber (from Miami Central Station to MIA).

We flew into MIA today and took an Uber to Port Everglades. We boarded the Uber around 10AM and arrived at Terminal 4 by 10:40AM. Cost was just under $50.

We were going to take Tri Rail to Fort Lauderdale Airport Station, then Uber to the port. Tri Rail runs $3.50 weekdays, $5 weekends. Uber runs $10-25. There’s a $5 voucher on Tri Rails’s website. This is somewhat laboring — getting to the MIA airport Tri Rail station requires taking the airport’s free tram to the ground transportation center… but it’s somewhat of a hike from the AA terminal and Uber was quoting $23 today from Fort Lauderdale Airpot to Port Everglades.
