With the regular Disney Visa card, you receive 1% in points for all purchases made. That's $1 reward points for every $100 you spend.
The premier card will give you 2% back in points for purchases made a grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants and Disney. All other purchases receive 1% back. For example, $2 rewards if you spend $100 on items at The
Disney Store, and $1 reward for $100 spent at KMart. Note that some Walmarts are in the Chase system as a grocery store and as such earn the 2%.
Rewards can be moved to a Reward Redemption Card and used at most any Disney location -- The Disney Store, towards a vacation (hotel, cruise, etc.) or on a vacation. The premier card also allows you to use the reward points towards airline tickets.
If you book a qualifying Disney vacation package, there is 0% interest for 6 months for any deposit and/or payment made towards that package. That means you have 6 months to pay off the amount you charged without incurring any interest for that amount.
There is no "grace period" on regular charges or payments. You must pay by the due date or interest and late fees may be incurred. If you pay off the statement balance each month by the due date, there will be no interest charges; if you pay less than the full balance there will be interest charged.
