Our family is going to Disney in early 2025. One of our daughter's is turning 50 around this time, and I thought I would make reservations for a birthday dinner. Silly me-I also thought it would be quick and easy to order a birthday cake. Looking at the Disney website, I see that I can order a "Mickey Dome Cake" (I would need at least two) or a special-order birthday cake for more than a $165. Triple . I also see that I can go to Disney Springs and get a cake at a bakery. Not sure what these cakes would cost, but I really don't want to spend the time (we won't have a car) going to Disney Springs for a cake.
Now, I get it- we are going to Disney. After spending thousands of dollars on a Disney World trip, what's another $165? BUT, I was just wondering-has anyone ever done anything else (besides the above two options) to get a cake? Something relatively quick, easy, and less expensive? If not, fine. Just wanted to explore my options.
Thank you.
