How long to link reservation to MDE?

Hey everyone,

Booked our first holiday to WDW for next October. I just wondered how long it can take to link to MDE before I have to phone them? The website says 48 hours but some suggest two weeks?

48 to 72 hours :) assuming you Booked direct?

Edit: if this is for October 2017 it'll be 500 ish days from when you depart when you can add it to the website. At around a year it'll show on the app

Thanks for the reply! Yep booked direct and we have 472 days to go. So hopefully by Monday it will be up?
 


Still no joy but called WDW and got through to Treasure. She couldn't get up my reservation so wait till Friday for it to be processed through their end. Hopefully will link it up soon, I know I can't do anything but I just want to know its on there:rolleyes:

Think we are there at a similar time! Haven't linked mine yet as we've been away but going to try tomorrow if I get chance :)
 


We've all been there....waiting for it to link >:(

Mine was 400 and something days when it linked. Just keep trying. I tried to link mine one morning and it didn't link but then I tried again the same evening and it worked :goodvibes. Couldn't believe my eyes!

I know it must do eventually. At least it can't be too long now as we are under 499 days and some say if you over over 500 days then you have to wait. Does anything come from Disney in the post? Confirmation etc?:o
 
I'm not sure if you get any paperwork if you booked direct with Disney. There are several travel companies that don't send any paperwork out nowadays :guilty:

Anyway, how exciting. I bet you can't wait! All the planning is just as exciting :hyper:

No way! We would have loved to go this year but savings took a hit for our wedding which was in March so now starting from scratch again lol. I send you well wishes for your FIL! :goodvibes

Thank you. He is not going to get better but we will do everything we can to make things as comfortable as possible for him.

I guessed you were newly married from your picture- many congratulations to you both! It gives you plenty of time to plan your trip which is a good thing!
 
Won't be long for me then - might try later it seems pretty random! Are you planning on attending MNSSHP while you're there? Just been reading up - so much to figure out and learn I naively didn't know you needed a separate ticket :(

I haven't even tried to link next year's trip, because I am still planning this year's and I'm not sure if it will affect the account in anyway having two trips linked at one time.
 
Linked mine too today but only showing me and hubs - not other members of family with different surnames :( tried to add but no luck so sent email to help desk!
