Morning!!

It's Friday....so that means I will be sitting in the bleachers for Friday Night Football & then bright and early at Saturday morning football!

P & PD to all.

Today's agenda:

send DH off to work
DS14 up and off to school/football (won't see him from 8:15am - 10pm (somewhere around there) :faint)
scrap
town for milk
scrap
football

I hope everyone has a great day!! I'll check in after the game tomorrow...

Ugh! Becky --- what is the latest news your way?? Looks like the cone is now directly over the state of Florida.... Are you and Rebecca ready?

Morning!

Yep we are ready here in Homestead! The deciding factor is whether or not Erika gets shredded apart or not as she passes over the Dominican Republic. If she makes it across, and into warmer waters, we could have a rainmaker with 60mph winds sometime late Sunday. Weather Guessers are saying that we will know more for sure in the next 12-18 hours....

Today:
Morning chores
Hair appt.
Scrap
Dinner out

Enjoy your football Nan!

TGIF!
Becky

Good Morning!

Nancy- enjoy the football game!
Becky- hopefully we will both be safe with the hurricane breaking up but otherwise stay safe.

I will probably pick up a little more water when I go to the store this morning for some other things (nothing to do with the hurricane)

Today:
Kmart for crafting needles
sew together tank top I knitted but never finished years ago- it is a good color and size for B and I want to finish it up to give her for her birthday
work on scrapping our time with the girls so I can have that album started when they come
work on getting the rooms in shape and finding places for our stuff
some basic cleaning around the house
football game tonight- 1st home game for our high school season

Rebecca

Happy Friday!

Rain is coming! just pray some gets over to the east side to help with the fires!
Chae, thank you to your friends, they are true heros!!

P and PD to all

Stay safe Becky and Rebecca! pray that Haiti doesn't get hit hard either.
enjoy the game Nan!

still not feeling well with the smoke issues to my sinus', yesterday at the fair in the heat didn't help either, hoping the rain and cooler weather will get me feeling better!

today:
Megan to keep fine tuning her papers, should finish today
run dishwasher
load of towels
take Megan out driving for a bit before her last driving lesson with instructor
talk to instructor about when she can take her tests
might stop by my mom's afterwards

hope everyone has a wonderful day :)

Good afternoon!

P & PD dust to all dealing with weather/fire issues!!
Good luck to the football teams! Our local school starts tonight as well

Had a busy morning, now an afternoon of leisure!

Supper - burgers at the lake

Have a great day! Stay safe!!

Well between the fact that Jim Cantore hasn't been deployed to FL at all and Brian Norcross is saying that they can barely even call Erika a Tropical Storm it looks like we will mainly have a rain event. According to the last update the storm has still not turned to the North (like they have been expecting it to for days now). It barely has a center of circulation but they still think it might strengthen when it gets to warmer waters so they are not willing to downgrade it to a wave although the wind currents show it as a wave. Mainly it means we need to stay off the bridges if we get winds and watch out for flooding if we gets lots of rain.

Since the bad part of the storm is on the south so if it continues moving west and not northwest as they are watching for then Haiti will not get the bad part of the storm either.
