We plan to stay there but want to do laundry. A guest laundromat or self laundry is listed on each site I've seen when I search on amenities for this hotel, but no further information is given. If you've seen/used the laundry facilities there, please let me know what you know.
If you think this hotel is acceptable, please let me know because the below experience has me worried.
In desperation I finally called the hotel directly - not a toll-free number. After listening to the recording, I selected talk to customer service but after 4 rings got back to the same recording. I did this 4-5 times in a row before trying the "reservations" option to try to get a person. My experience with that person is causing me to reconsider our reservation. I politely stated that I had a question about the listed guest laundry and asked if it was just two or - and was cut off by an abrupt YES! I clarified by asking if those two machines were out of order would I be out of luck doing laundry. I was hoping for more specifics leading to reassurance that we could actually expect to be able to do a load of laundry (maybe on a different floor or that there were more than a couple machines or that they would offer a discount on laundry service if the self option was out of order) while there. But again, a yes was barked at me. I know I selected a "reservation" line when the other wasn't answered; but I was hoping they would want happy customers who want to book their hotel. If this is representative on the attitude at Springhill Suites Seaworld, I think my planning may have been for naught and I have to start over to select a different hotel.
