It can depend, best to ask your server what is included. Some of the shakes and smoothies are. Alcohol is not (not that your child would drink it, but an adult in the party might want it, that is not allowed).Greetings Friends!
Just wondering what anyone's experiences were with ordering specialty beverages on the child dining plan. For instance, at a sit down meal, can my 7 year old order a specialty beverage included with his meal? THANKS!

Why (for an adult) is alcohol not allowed? I have the dining package and it stated:It can depend, best to ask your server what is included. Some of the shakes and smoothies are. Alcohol is not (not that your child would drink it, but an adult in the party might want it, that is not allowed).
If you’re an adult on an adult dining plan using an adult credit, you can - if the location serves alcohol. Why (for an adult) is alcohol not allowed? I have the dining package and it stated:

Just got back and had 6 nights with the DDP. DS9 was able to order specialty beverages at 4 out of 6 Table service restaurants. At Garden Grill, 1900 Park Fare, Tusker House, and Boma our servers offered him a specialty beverage after pointing out the beverages available to adults. Each time they knew he was 9 and using a child credit. O'hana and Hollywood&Vine did not include specialty beverages for kids. We did ask. The DDP is such a great deal if you have children 9 and under and are planning on eating character meals.Greetings Friends!
