Tick tock, tick tock!
This update may or may not get finished since the Dis just ate the first draft.
No update last week because mother's day made for a very busy weekend. It was a great time to spend with my family though and I got a solo trip to Target. Serenity.
The next six days are super intense but I'm going to make it! Graduation today, getting all my students to camp on Monday, getting myself to camp on Wednesday for my one night, and the last day of school on Friday. Phew! It's all downhill from there.
Currently the ring chain looks like this.
My Shoe Problem
I think I've solved the shoe debate for myself after ordering and trying on 6 pairs. Here are the top two.
These are super cute and comfortable. But even with an insole I worry they aren't supportive enough for full day touring.
Super supportive, cool, and cute. Everyone I know bought white sneakers this year. Downside is that I've heard Americans aren't "supposed" to wear sneakers in Europe. However, if I pack these, I won't have to pack additional gym shoes.
So, I'm going to keep both but only take the Adidas. I think it's a good compromise.
Shoes - check!
Pause before the Dis eats it. Again.
Packing
I'd say I'm 80% packed in terms of clothes. Still need to add two dresses I wear to work and socks, shoes, and underwear.
I've labeled the packing cubes so I know what needs to come out of the suitcase when.
Family gifts are finished plus my half of the FE. When I load in all the clothes and that stuff, my suitcase weighs 33lbs and there's room to spare. DD will also get a checked bag. We each get 50 lbs, so I'm feeling really good about space. No, that doesn't mean I'm going to start adding stuff to the list.
Other Stuff
I checked this book out of the library. Love it! I'm going to renew it and take it with us.
Things are moving along. I know this next part is going to fly.
It starts with a 1!!!!!
