We sold ours VGF for $135 for 115 points 12/17. ROFR took 20 days (executed on 9/8). Closing occurred on 10/26 (was delayed till we returned from our trip). Deed was recorded on 10/29. Will receive our funds tomorrow on 11/12.


Our purchase of BWV went in yesterday 11/10 for $90 a point. 11 on 2/16 and 160 on 2/17. Fingers crossed it goes quick.

It's been a number of years since I've posted on disboards but I couldn't think of a better occasion to come back than my first attempt at ownership. It's funny - for the first 36 hours after I sent the deposit, I thought "what's the big deal, anyway?" Then I start reading this thread and see the $96 contract that didn't go through, and now I just subjected myself to a couple of weeks of worrying. Great. What a great idea it was to read all of this. Hopefully Mickey signs off on this one; not too many BCV contracts come available with more than 200 points or so.

Anyway, it's nice to be back. Here goes!
