Awww - super-cute picture!!!
I love the Chip pics!!! Shannon likely won't return from WDW if we don't manage to get some Lumiere PP (um, MM??? I know they have changed it ) pictures!I did see one in the shade and asked if she knew where I could have my picture taken, and she offered to take it! I’m so happy with how they came out!
Okay, this picture is so cute. And when I saw the FG, I kept thinking, Wow, that FG has been there forever. I have seen her in so many TRs, and I think we have met her on more than one trip. But then I went back to a couple years' of our trip photos, and I'm no longer so sure. I think they just do an AMAZING job with the FG - unless you look at photos side-by-side, you would never see a difference in them. I mean FG's friends..... Yikes.
I'm glad you caught it one last time!I was too hot to go join in the dance party but I was happy to see the floats (for what would be the last time…RIP Move It Shake It Celebrate It).
*sigh* It is pretty darn sad. But you don't have to be sad at all, since you will be LIVING THERE!!!!Saying goodbye to the Magic Kingdom is the worst, 0/10, would not recommend.
Oh my! That must have been a terrible feeling. I predict that I will feel "not very Everest-y" if Willow manages to drag me on single-rider as many times as I think she's secretly planning. It will be like the Day of Thirteen ToT Rides.......because I was not feeling very Everest-y
There's one in every group.....Dad probably got something healthy to make the rest of us look bad.
I can see that. We have still never made it out there for a first visit! We had some time to kill before the ASL Finding Nemo, the Musical at 1:00 so we decided to take the train out to Rafiki’s Planet Watch. We hadn’t been out there in so long that Kylie didn’t even remember it.
Um, if that is where the 'monks are meeting now, maybe we'll finally take that train.....The girls met Chip and Dale outside then headed inside and met Rafiki.
I don't have a thing about swarming birds. I have a thing about birds. Full stop. This would be very unpleasant for me.I stopped in the ladies room before we left, where they had piped in shrieking bird noises which were pretty scary. I have a thing about swarming birds so it was certainly no relaxing experience.
Oh, this is so sweet! It turns out she was hard of hearing, so she moved down to the ASL section to sit with us. She signed a bunch with Kylie and at the end asked if she could meet up with us at the Lion King show later.
Ahhhh, who needs Aladdin anyway when you have Jas to meet. I mean the movie isn't called Aladd... Wait. Never mind.
It's so weird. Sometimes there are photographers everywhere, and sometimes you really have to look. Thankfully you got what you were looking for and awwwww, Chip.
Why Disney... WHY????????? Why did you do that to me???? I've been good... mostly!!
YAY bonus chapter!!
Awww it's never good when you don't feel Everest-y.
I enjoy Flights of Wonder every now and then. Nice catch on the owl photo. really well done.
I love that you get pictures with the interpreters because pictures with CM's
That is so cool meeting that girl in the line for Nemo.
Me too!
I wanna go next week!
Yay Jasmine! My second favourite princess.
But who is this Aladdin you speak of... and who cares.
Jasmine!
Love those shots!
Man! as if Disney didn't do enough to make you fall in love with it.
Then this!
Great shot! I like how you framed the castle with the foliage.
I don't understand.
What does you're being hot have to do with not joining the dance party?
Didn't want to muss your hair?
Oh, wait.
You're talking about the air temperature here, right?
I didn't know it was going away. I might've paid more attention to it.
Oh man. That looks goooooood.
I might give it a negative score.
Not. Feeling. Everest-y.
I bet!
Surprised it didn't have a bigger impact on your wait time.
I find it wonderful that Disney does this (same for Nemo).
Boo, Dad!
I'm surprised he got it back.
I've done it and I hardly remember it.
It wasn't exactly the highlight of my trip.
Good grief.
"Oh, that announcement is for everyone else."
Well I guess that keeps stall turn around times low.
Love it!
Only in Disney can you make a new friend that fast.
Thanks for the updates ladies!
Courtney. I almost hate your photos for being so perfect. I love everything about them.
ALADDIN IS NEVER WITH JASMINE AT THAT SPOT and it makes me really sad so I understand but it looks like you had a great time with just Jazzy J!!!
Your magic shots are so cute!! And how sweet that she taught that little girl how to say "beautiful" in sign language!!
Saying goodbye to the MK is the woooooorst evvvvveerrr.
Again. The AK photos are looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooovely. My iPhone 4S feels shameful.
Hooray for the Chip magic shot!
I LOVE your "heart" picture with the Fairy Godmother!!!
I can't think of a time where I haven't felt Everest-y. It's one of my favorite Disney rides and I can't wait to ride it in May!
Rafiki's Planet Watch has always been shoved to the "if we have spare time" list... perhaps I need to move it higher so I finally see it.
We need to make it out to Rafiki's planet watch on our next trip, I don't think DS9 has ever been out there! In fact, I'm pretty sure the last time we went out, Jiminy Cricket was still meeting there......which was really cool but had to be 2010 or 2011
Awww - super-cute picture!!!

And yet I'm intrigued with the bird show. I wonder if I could convince anyone in our group this summer to stop for that.
Oh, this is so sweet!
Your magic shot pictures came out great! I've read several reports of the Fairy Godmother using sign language - so she is clearly good people
Anytime one can get on Everest twice in a row with 5 minute wait is a pretty good start to the day
Bummer about the safari though - guess it was just too hot ... I mean, I don't think I've ever read a report that didn't at least include a number of giraffes
That's cool they ran into that other guest who was hard of hearing ... or, should I say, cool for that guest to run into your family as she was able to adjust and sit in the ASL section - and fun that she wanted to meet up at FotLK as well ... Disney can make fast friends
Welp, you didn't get to see Aladdin, but you could've just taken a pic with your sister Another fabulous Disneybound by her and Emily!
I must do a solo Magic Kingdom morning!! I am exceedingly jealous that you were able to wander about and meet characters and take pictures with no one whining and hurrying you along
Even if you missed Aladdin, at least Jasmine was a sweetie.
What a nice Photopass CM and what a awesome magic shots.
I love love love that Fairy Godmother heart picture.
RIP MiSiCi
And agreed, MK goodbyes are the worst.
Wow, special bonus chapter.
I've said it many times before but I still need to see Flights of Wonder.
We had the same thing happen on the train over to Planet Watch last time, I don't understand why people can't just sit.
That was pretty cool that the VIP girl actually ended up knowing ASL.
I love all the MK character/Chip/castle pictures!
Too hot to dance? Crazy! At least you got to stop and take some pictures.
Totally agree with you on leaving MK ... if there was something below 0, I'd give that to leaving MK.
Yay for Mom filling in and writing about the morning you missed!
Sounds like a good morning. Sad that the animals weren't out much on the safari ... we had that happen once, it's a little sad. And how great that you made a new friend at Nemo ... it's great when something you have in common can help you make new friends!
Hi! I've seen you around the TR boards before, but I just happened to be scrolling through one this morning and saw something about DCP 2015. I may or may not get caught up here... I'm terrible about catching up on TR's when I join late quite honestly, but I'd love to live your DCP experience vicariously!
Since finals and graduation itself are approaching RAPIDLY, I'm going to knock out the last three official updates and do a wrap-up sometime in the next few weeks.
So my advice to anyone with a group with the MM, make sure to check before you leave that all your pictures are there.
Someone’s got to get over to One Man’s Dream.
The woman in front of us was telling her son that he had to have some turkey, and my mom explained that it was actually ham and not turkey on the buffet. The woman said, “Oh, right. Wrong bird.”
See, you know you and Rob's love for Ariel?
While nothing could come close to that for me...
I LOVE Aladdin and get all kinds of starry eyed meeting him.
So I was a bit disappointed.
I'm not a huge fan of Rice Krispies in my everyday life, but Disney rice krispies are the BEST. I like how they're generally coated in frosting or chocolate.
When people ask me, "Hey Courtney, what are you doing for Disney?" I'll just tell them I have to convince people to stay seated and put away their selfie sticks.
