getting to Epcot...

what is the best way to get to Epcot? Bus, car, boat? Can we take the boat to the contemporary then monorail to Epcot?

We will be a large group with cars, so we can drive. We tend to avoid busses due to the hassle of folding strollers with three small children.

Boat to Contemporary, monorail to Transportation Center then switch to Epcot monorail.

If you don't mind driving, it will be much easier/quicker than the boat to CR/monorail to TTC/monorail to Epcot route. That involves a lot of switching and waiting for my tastes. Certainly possible though, and it's kind of fun/scenic if you have time to kill.

If I am going to drive, why not just drive directly to Epcot? Less switching, and the parking is going to be as limited as it might be at the CR.

I think you misread it. They do mean drive directly to Epcot vs. boat to CR.

Yes, that's what I meant - if driving, just drive straight to Epcot.

esp if you have a double stroller you might have to fold on boat to CR. we had some trouble on big boat To MK with our double stroller making the turn

had trouble making turn at door past steps to CMs area. one time almost had to take girls out and fold as there just wasn't room to make turn. was a tight fit on others. and there is no other way on boat. and this was big boat to MK not little ones to the resorts
