Hi there! I will need to get a ride from BWV to Tampa International Airport in October. What would be the best way to request Uber? I would prefer to schedule it in advance so I know I'm all set. Also does anyone have experience in travel time from Disney to Tampa international airport? The flight is at 2:25pm. I was planning on getting picked up at 11:30 am.

Not to mention, last year, we went to ESPN twice, for packet pick up and for DGD's kids race. Both times our bus driver got lost. Badly lost. Like took 45 min + to get there. I was absolutely amazing that it happened not once, but twice, going from CR to ESPN. It made me and my Mom miss DGD's race (thankfully, DD and DGD had headed over early). We are back again next month and I think we will take Uber/Lyft instead of the buses.

Is there an easy way to know ahead of time how long a trip will take? On the fare estimator page it doesn't show the estimated time, just the estimated price.

I will be using an uber with a carseat for several trips when we are down in orlando (which is new to us!). Including a trip to Universal and back.. What is the category that has the car seat? Also are they readily available most times? or do you allow for extra time TIA!

Uber Family, you select a car seat option when you request a ride.
They are not nearly as plentiful as cars without the car seat. Wait times are typically longer for them.
They are available only in the tourist corridor (though I believe the term they use is different), so around Universal and around Disney isn't a problem.
But do plan for longer wait times in general

Car sears may be available in UberX or UberXL vehicles. After you enter your destination in the app, the vehicle selection appears at the bottom of the screen. Slide the selection to the left to see the car seat options.
Car seats are available only on trips originating in a tourist corridor running from the Disney area to Universal, including Sea World and I-Drive, and also specifically at the Florida Mall and OIA; some off-site "Disney area" resorts are not within the corridor. The car seats are not intended for infants under 1 year old. Only 1 car seat is available per car.
As to availability, I can't speak firsthand, but you should expect a longer wait time, and there have been reports of car seats not being available at times. I just checked availability at Epcot as a test, and the app showed no UberX available with car seat, and a 15 minute wait for an UberXL with car seat.

We used uber today for the very first time and I was not sure I should have given the driver a tip. Tomorrow we are going to universal using uber and I would love to be prepared with a tip if thats the case. Thanks

I added a promo code to Lyft too early for me to use for my trip..... now they said that we don't qualify for any other promo codes even though they expired? We are new Lyft users and I am frustrated....any work around?

Can we get an uber around 7am? We need it to get to MK from the Lake Buena Vista Holiday Inn Resort hotel. Where would it drop us off at? Also, where is the drop off for Disney Springs? (we'd prefer to come in by marketplace area)

That time should be no problem. You should input the Contemporary as your destination, otherwise you'll be dropped at the TTC and have to take another form of transportation to MK.

There are 2 pickup points at DS. You can request to be dropped off either at the Marketplace or at the West Side (Strawberry lot).

Its usually about an hour to hour 15. The problem with anything tampa is traffic. Friday-sunday westbound to tampa on i4 can sometimes get ugly

just wanted to say we used Uber 4 times on our trip last week. 3 of the drivers were great, informative, prompt and had nice clean cars. the last one unfortunately had trouble finding us, went right by our drop off entrance at POFQ and thought the Riverside entrance went to the same resort as FQ. she was not friendly, didn't talk and texted while she was driving us there.....she was just horrible. that being said I would definitely use Uber again as it saved us time and money. cabs would have been way more $$$.....
