The reservation is May 1. By my math, I need to cancel by tomorrow night? Is that correct? Is it by a certain time or just by midnight. DS is still deciding on flights. Spent less money on plane, spend one more day at disney. For him and family, it would be one day AK jumbo , 6 day BLT and 4 days AK kidani.

I tried chat, got wait times of 21 min and 36 sec........45 mins later, still waiting . And then the CM tells me I should call in the morning to cancel. I said I booked it online , it's only for one night, couldn't I cancel online??? He says, I should call so I can modify and get the room I want. HUH????? If we won't be there, why do we "want to get the room we want"? Aside from the fact he makes it sound like there are millions of rooms to pick from.

It is the Jambo reservation - so just the one night there, correct? You can cancel online but reservations is not typically a normal operation for Chat. Just go to the reservation and there will be a cancel button. If it is cancelling a night off a multiple night stay at a resort then yes, you still need to call in to modify. It is not something that can be done online.
