~A Very Merry Happy Trip~ (Completed)

Jealous you got to meet Flynn Rider! Last time we did MVMCP he wasn't there, I can't remember if Tangled hadn't come out yet or it was the one year they skipped having the Princes meet. I'd love to meet him one day!
We've never done CP breakfast and while the characters there don't matter to me or the boys anymore I'd like to try it. I hear really good things about the food!
Aw even though it was a long line Minnie & Daisy have such cute Xmas outfits :goodvibes
Nice job with the Uber driver :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Soarin' Over Epcot
Today was technically Day 3, Wednesday 11/16.
We started the day early and headed out the door to EPCOT for RD. We got there maybe 15 mins before they started letting people through the gates.

They let us in the turnstiles and we headed towards Soarin since the FP's at EPCOT are limited. They held us up right in front of Character Spot until 9 am. So once they officially opened we headed in The Land Pavilion with the rest of the crowd. Here we are waiting for our ride...

Our next plan was to head to Test Track and hope we all could ride together at this point. We got a little side tracked when we seen the line for Joy and Sadness. I had planned on doing this later in the day but the line didn't look bad at all. It was longer than expected but totally worth it! I had recently seen this movie prior to the trip and loved it. Once we got to the front we realized why the line was longer than expected. They took a good amount of time with each family. They were a great character interaction! I always feel a little odd with the fur characters just because I am a grown adult. :cool1: They were awesome though. I had on a pin from ParkBoundButtons that was of Joy and it said "Another Great Day At Disney." Well she spotted it right off and had to show Sadness. Sadness was not a fan and went to the corner and cried. Then we hugged it out. ha. Still makes it a lot less awkward for an adult when they make it easy.

Now of to Test Track. My ride photo is HORRIBLE so it will not be seen here. We done Single Rider twice because Stand By was around 70mins at this point. Then we were off to Mission to Space Green Version.

I am not a huge fan of this ride and have no intentions of riding the orange version. But we did it to mark it off of our list. As we were walking to find lunch we heard the Jammitors playing. I had a picture somewhere but can't seem to find it. Anywho at this point me and the girls split up for lunch. I decided I wanted to eat in Mexico at the QS location while they opted for Electric Umbrella. This starts my little Solo Adventure for the day...

I don't have a picture of my food but I had the Nachos with Churros as my dessert. It was yummy and hit he spot. I texted the girls to see what they were up to and they just started eating at this point. So i kind of hung around Mexico for a few mins.

Fiesta Donald was making his way out so I went over to say Hi.

He wasn't happy about my Mickey Shirt. :confused3

But we made up.

Next I wandered on over to Norway just to check out the new area. I saw Frozen Ever After only had a 30 min wait. Although we had a FP+for it later on in the day I decided to hop in line since I was still waiting on the girls to finish up lunch. I looked at my phone right before I boarded the boat and it had been 18 mins exactly! Score!
The girls had a few other things on their agenda so I decided to trek on around the World Showcase. It was an absolutely beautiful day for it! mid 70's, sunshine and a breeze!
I got in the 10 min line to see Anna and Elsa.

On to China! I didn't do too much here just sight seeing. I made my way on around to Germany. I had a specific stop in mind. I had been wanting to grab a snack from the Werthers Store!

I purchased a Mickey Rice Krispie Treat with the ears dipped in Milk Chocolate and carmel drizzled over it! :thumbsup2
I wandered on around to Italy and stopped to watch Sergio (spelling??). He was very entertaining and the kids looked like they were having a blast!
I went through America and Japan pretty fast because I had another thing on my mind in Morocco. I stopped at the little snack stand and ordered a Habibi Daiquiri. The menu described it as strawberry, orange blossom water, and rum. It was yummy and a little heavy on the rum but I wasn't complaining. I found a quite place to snack and call home.

I noticed a line forming for Belle after I finished my snack so I headed on over. She was out within about 5 mins or so.

Next I stopped at the Effiel tower for this cute little Magic Shot.

Princess Aurora was walking out so I hopped in line for her.

I had gotten a text saying the girls were getting ready to head back for a nap. I was getting tired myself so we agreed to head towards the front. I had FP+ for the character spot so I went through there and was in and out in 10 mins. The girls were still on Spaceship Earth so I made my way to the front. I spotted Daisy with a short line. So here we are...

Finally we all were at the front and decided to do a group shot before leaving!

Next up my favorite Disney meal!:jumping1:

You got a lot done this day! Especially around WS with all your character meets :goodvibes The more you do by yourself the more comfortable you get! And you had one of Chris's favorite snacks, those churros.

Also even though you were too chicken to go on TOT lol, I give you credit for going on M:S. I've never ridden that, even the green side. It makes me feel nauseous just thinking about going on it :crazy2:

Loving all your updates! We plan on taking our cousins with us this year, same time your trip was! Your report is very helpful so far!

Joining in & loving your TR! I love that you took a trip with your cousins--my cousin & I are taking a trip together this summer with our moms and can't wait!! Your sparkly ears are just too cute!

Then I seen this! I was in awe of the Tree at night! Absolutely why I love AK soo much!

That picture is stunning! I can't remember ever being in AK at night, but seeing that definitely makes me want to someday. :)

First up Tiana and Naveen. They were very fun and went on about my green shirt.

I was lucky enough to find Naveen out with Tiana during regular park hours a couple of years ago. They are still one of my favorite M&Gs to date!! :jumping2:

Next over to Rapunzel and Flynn. One of the best interactions of the week. Actually we had a lot of good ones. Long story short. They noticed my wedding ring and asking why I was alone. I basically said I left my prince at home to work while I spent his money! They got a kick out of that and Flynn said he usually has a witty comment but he was speechless. You can even tell in this picture he was still looking for words.

SO JEALOUS that you got to meet Flynn!! That has been on my Disney bucket list for years!

We got a little side tracked when we seen the line for Joy and Sadness. I had planned on doing this later in the day but the line didn't look bad at all.

Where exactly is the M&G for Joy and Sadness? I really want to meet them, but I haven't been able to find anything about where exactly they are.

Next I wandered on over to Norway just to check out the new area. I saw Frozen Ever After only had a 30 min wait. I got in the 10 min line to see Anna and Elsa.

Daaanngg. You got really lucky with those Frozen wait times. I'm impressed with how much you got to do in one morning!!

Thanks for following along! :welcome:

It pretty much is a whole new atmosphere at night!

They are in the Innoventions Building across from the Character Spot Meet and Greet. They are in the same place as Bamax.

We really had some good luck that day!

Short and Sweet...
This is just a short update since it was a pretty short night.
Our alarms went off and we hopped up to get ready because we were heading to the meal we had been waiting for the most!
We got in the car and drove towards the Wilderness Lodge!

We started off with the all you can drink Shakes and waters. I had the Vanilla. It went really well with the sweet cornbread!

I just love this meal! I think It is more of the BBQ sauce I like than anything. Our waiter was pretty fun this year, although I do not remember his name. Then came dessert :dancer:

Miranda got a new little hat from our server :rotfl2:

We wandered around the lodge for a bit...

Then on to Epcot!

The Photopass photographer done a mini photo shoot with us.

We then headed on over to Soarin' for another flight. We done standby and it was pretty short by this time.
After Soarin' we walked over to Club Cool. I had never done this one before however I did know better not to try the Beverly. The others did not. They tried it before I could get my camera out to snap a pic. We had a few good laughs and then headed on over to our last FP+ of the day. Frozen Ever After. I really think it is a cute ride and worth using a FP+ for. However I would not wait in the super long lines for it. After our FP it was around 815ish. Not to much time to ride anything else but the girls weren't with me to see Elsa and Anna earlier so we decided to see them since the wait was 5 mins and then try to grab a spot for Illuminations.

After this we found a front "row" spot so we plopped down to wait on Illuminations. This is probably my least favorite nighttime show of all the parks, but I feel like I must see it once a trip. Anywho as we were headed to the exit Hollywood Studios fireworks were going off and they were AMAZING!pixiedust: If they had only piped in music it would've been better than actually being there since our viewing spots in DHS weren't that great.
We stopped for our obligatory group Christmas tree picture:
https://postimg.org/image/igz69hon3/

Then I took this shot:

I am just a huge fan of Disney Parks at night :goodvibes

Miranda had to stop for a bathroom break so me and Chelsy took this snap.

Then we were off to the Resort. We all had our showers and settled in for the night. I had to tune in for my nightly viewing of the Stacy Show :rotfl2:

Next Up...Best Disney Day Ever!

It went really well with the sweet cornbread!
I LOVE cornbread and so far I haven't had any at Disney that I don't like!

Totally agree. Very happy our 40 min SB wait ended up being 27 minutes and I don't even think I'd wait that long again, but I'm glad we got to ride.

I had to tune in for my nightly viewing of the Stacy Show
 I put Stacy on almost immediately upon entering our resort room every trip, and then whomever is with me just rolls their eyes at me  Not that I care lol. And watching her at night gets me excited for the next day!

Following along! What a fun girls trip! I miss WDW terribly now :guilty: you got so much done on your Epcot day!!!
Thanks for following along! :flower1: I hope to get another update done soon!

I know what you mean. Chelsy and Miranda wasn't a fan after day 8 :rotfl2:

Best Day Ever...Literally. Part 1
This day way Thursday, Nov 17. We had a day full of activities planned at MK even though it was only open until 430pm because of a private event.
We got out of bed and headed on our way. We got front row parking at the TTC and was able to walk to the ferry. We ferried over to the MK. I took these awesome shots on my new little point and shoot Sony Camera...

And let me add this was the most gorgeous weather we've ever had at Disney. Not a cloud in the sky. Morning was cool enough for a jacket and the high got to a breezy 70 degrees. Literally Best Day Ever!

We arrived about 15 mins before the welcome show started. Last year was the first year I had ever seen the Welcome show and it was so cute so it was a must for this trip also! We were on the front towards the right side.

The Fire Chief opened the MK today. This was the same fire chief I had met in 2011. I just love how a lot of these CM stay around!

After the park officially opened we headed to 7DMT. Yeah yeah I know we have already rode it a lot this trip but it is so darn cute and not worth waiting in the long line.

Afterwards we had Starbucks on our mind. We zipped through the castle to see this view..

Then I spotted the old times fire truck. I had to get a picture of it to send to Nick.

Finally we got to Starbucks. I ordered a sugar cookie and a Carmel Apple Spice. The line was pretty long but soon we had our drinks and headed out to do a little Christmas shopping for some kiddos.

I found some cute little items for my nieces. I had them sent back to the resort. I am not sure if you all use this perk of saying on site, but I highly recommend it!

We had a FP+ reservation for the Jungle Cruise so we headed that way. We set sail on the Noel-Nellie

It was a cute change to the cruise. We had a great skipper and he was very entertaining.
Next we headed on over to the Haunted Mansion.
Afterwards we headed back to Fantasyland to have lunch. It wasn't quite time for Pinnochio Village Haus to open to we seen the line for the Fairy Godmother and jumped in. We maybe waited 5 mins to meet her. She was one of my favorite meets of the week. She really liked my Cinderella Shirt I had on. She had us all doing some fun poses. here are a few we took with her.

As we were scanning our magic band for the photos picture the photographer told us the stepsisters were coming out right after and they were not to be missed. So we hopped back in line for the sisters too. I really hate they removed Lady T from the meet and greet.

By now our bellies were very hungry so into PVH we went. I had been dreaming of Pepperoni Flatbread here for days! I am that person who can eat Pizza 365 days/year. I took a picture of it but can't seem to locate it now. But trust me they are way better than the round pizzas they serve at other QS locations.

We had another Meet to attend. We went to the back of Fantasyland to catch up with Gaston. He was such a fun Gaston!

Best Day Ever...Literally. Part 2
After Gaston we stopped for a photos shot in front of The Beast's Castle.

I'm pretty sure we rode Small World at some point this day but I don't have it in my notes.
We headed back to Frontierland to take a litte ride with Brer Rabbit.

Apparently Miranda didn't get the Heart memo:rotfl2:

After this ride it was going on 1:00ish. The girls decided they needed a nap. I decided to stay in MK. I knew this was going to be a short day with low crowds so I hated to waste it. As I was walking back towards the hub I noticed a short line for Aladdin and Jasmine. Jasmine is one of my favorites but I was not impressed with these two today. You could totally tell they were ready to go.

Afterwards I headed to Fantasyland and decided to do Phillarmagic since I hadn't done it this trip. It is one of my favorite MK shows. I was in and out in no time. I walked around Fantasyland just people watching for a bit. Then I headed to the hub to sit down and wait for The parade. I made a few phone calls to talk with everybody back home. I snapped a few pictures while I waited.

I purchased this pin from caseyandthebear that I follow on Instagram. She has the cutest pins ever!

It got closer to 3 so I migrated over to Main Street. I found the perfect spot behind a trashcan. Best Views ever! I struck up a convo with the couple beside me. They were from England and were half way through their 2 week long holiday as they called it. I hadn't had the chance to see the parade in person so I was really excited. I took several pictures and here are just a few of the better ones.

I give it 2 :thumbsup2:thumbsup2.

I strolled up Main Street and shopped for a little while in the Emporium and Uptown Jewelers. I found a cute little Pandora Ring I sent to my mother in law to send to Nick for a potential Christmas Gift.

I headed towards the front and happened to catch the Dapper Dans coming out in their Christmas gear!

They sang some Christmas tunes. I wish I could have stayed a little longer but I had a dinner date with royalty to get to.

I stopped outside of an empty MK entrance for a picture.

So I took the Monorail over to the TTC and took the short walk to my car thinking I would be to the grand Floridian in no time. Ugh no. As I exited the MK parking lot they had all of the re-entrances to MK blocked off for the private event that night. I had to drive all the way back to Epcot and turn around back to the GF. I was soon mad by this point. it took me 25 mins out of my way. i could've stopped while I was on the Monorail but we had an important show to attend right after dinner. Finally I got to the GF and met back up with the girls who had took an Uber. We checked in a few minutes late and they seated us within 5 mins. It was a pretty good meal for a dinner buffet. The characters were great. I won't bore you with all of the pictures since we had seen some of the girls earlier in the day. But here is Cinderella and me.

Prince Charming meets after Dinner to get a proper photo. We got in line for him but they said it would be about 15 minutes before he was back. We decided to go ahead and leave because we wanted to get over to Hollywood Studios for Jingle Bell Jingle Bam. We rushed over to DHS. It was soon cute to see it all decked out for Christmas!

People were already lined up for the show. We didn't have the best spot but we didn't really expect to since we were pretty late on getting over there. But it was still a cute show!

I really hope they have this show for our Nov/Dec trip. i think my nieces will love it! We headed back to the hotel for an early night since we were halfway through the trip already. :cool1:

Next up....Hollywood Studios Day!

The Fire Chief opened the MK today. This was the same fire chief I had met in 2011. I just love how a lot of these CM stay around!
That's a great shot of him! Actually all nice shots of the opening show, your camera works well!

It was a cute change to the cruise. We had a great skipper and he was very entertaining.
I really prefer the Jingle Cruise over the Jungle Cruise, but either way the skipper makes a huge difference whether it's a good cruise or not

She had us all doing some fun poses. here are a few we took with her.
Love the poses! We met her when the boys were younger but not in years. Might have to change that if I see her out on our next couple trips :)

Jasmine is one of my favorites but I was not impressed with these two today.
Not only am I not a fan of Jasmine's new outfit, but I don't think these are my favorite "friends" of Aladdin and Jasmine :rolleyes1 I shouldn't say anything since I'm no princess myself lol but some just fit the role better than others.

Then I headed to the hub to sit down and wait for The parade.
I remember when you said you were waiting for the parade, I was so excited you were finally going to get to see it!!

I took these awesome shots on my new little point and shoot Sony Camera...

NICE Shots! You're quite talented.

And let me add this was the most gorgeous weather we've ever had at Disney. Not a cloud in the sky. Morning was cool enough for a jacket and the high got to a breezy 70 degrees. Literally Best Day Ever!

YES! I will miss the weather in Florida SO, SO much!

After the park officially opened we headed to 7DMT.

I love that ride. I don't judge you one bit for rising it again and again!

OMG! Are your nails from Jamberry? That decal is adorable!!!

She had us all doing some fun poses. here are a few we took with her.

CUTE!!!! These pics are adorable!

After Gaston we stopped for a photos shot in front of The Beast's Castle.

You guys got a ton of PP Photos! Great use of the memory Maker!

ove the poses! We met her when the boys were younger but not in years. Might have to change that if I see her out on our next couple trips
She is worth tracking down! So fun!

Not only am I not a fan of Jasmine's new outfit, but I don't think these are my favorite "friends" of Aladdin and Jasmine :rolleyes1 I shouldn't say anything since I'm no princess myself lol but some just fit the role better than others
Her outfit is a sore subject too. With all the recent changes going on you know how I despise change!:headache:

I remember when you said you were waiting for the parade, I was so excited you were finally going to get to see it!!
Looking at pictures takes me back to my early Disney years. No matter what we were doing we dropped it to see the parade. I need to dig up some old pictures. Not sure if you remember the giant floats coming down Main Street or not.

NICE Shots! You're quite talented
It's all the camera! If you are ever in the market for one I suggest it! :thumbsup2

I love that ride. I don't judge you one bit for rising it again and again!
:cool1:

OMG! Are your nails from Jamberry? That decal is adorable!
Yep! I have ordered the Ursula ones from the villians collection for Our April trip!

You guys got a ton of PP Photos! Great use of the memory Maker!
With our APs it is included so we are using the heck out of it!

Will someone please ride with me.....

Next up is our 5th day at Hollywood Studios. We got a slight glimpse of DHS the previous night before when we went to see JBJB. We started out early to arrive before Rope Drop. We got to the main gates about 10 mins before they started letting people in. They were handing out these nifty Happy Birthday Pins for the Big Cheese's Birthday!

We were soon herded in the gate and stopped at Starbucks for the short little opening show. Once DHS was officially open we headed down Sunset to Rock N Rollercoaster. We walked right on and didn't even have to watch the welcome show.

We rode twice more. Once was all together and by the third time around the line had grew so we hopped in the single rider line. Next we headed on over to the Voyage of Little Mermaid. I remember Miranda asking if we would get wet during the show. Me and Cheesy both assured her it was nothing more than a slight mist. Oops. it was more of a light downpour. Neither of us had remembered it being that much water. Also it could've been our memory was fogged from the extreme hot and humidity of September. After LM we headed to use out fist FP+ of the day at TSMM. We were in and out in no time. We then decided to head back to Sunset Blvd to the Beauty and the Beast Show. We stopped to have our obligatory park photo taken for the day.

We had no issue making it to the 11am show. Our seats weren't bad at all either. We sat in the middle sections mid ways back. I was very excited to see this show because for some reason I had never made it before.

Next we had a certain M&G in mind. We hiked across the park to get in line for Olaf. He had a short 5 min wait posted.

By this time our tummies were getting hungry. I had already decided I wanted to eat at Pizzerizzo since it had just opened back up on this day. The girls headed on over to ABC Commissary. Here was my lunch. Basic small Pizza. I don't eat salad so they let me sub for a bag of chips. I wasn't impressed with the dessert options either so they let me get a bottle of water on top of my drink that was included. I saved these for a snack for later.

The girls were still eating so I decided to go pay the birthday boy a visit. Sorcerer Mickey is my absolute favorite. The line was a little longer than expected. I ended up talking with the family behind me. They were so much fun and made the longer than posted line go a little faster.

It was coming up on our FP+ time for Frozen Sing Along. I waited for the girls at the entrance but they were a little late coming out of The Great Movie Ride so I went on in to find a seat since they weren't sure they would make it in time. I was very impressed with the show. I hadn't really had a desire to see it but one of the girls I worked with said they had seen it and really enjoyed it. It was probably one of the better stage shows I had seen at Disney. The humor was more for adults than the kids. And the horrible sing a long per the audience wasn't to bad either. :rotfl2:
We all decided to head back to the resort for a nap before dinner. On the way out to the right of the exit Donald was meeting in his sailor gear. The attendant was in the walkway trying to get more him more visitors. So we hopped in the 1 person line:cool1:

After what seemed a short nap we headed back to DHS for our reservations for Hollywood and Vine. We met Santa Goofy at the entrance.

We had just enough time to fix our first plates before we had visitors.

I just loved their retro Christmas outfits! It fit right in with the Hollywood theme. I had remembered from the year before that this was probably one of my favorite buffets. They seemed like they had more options than the others. I really like their vegetable soup and cornbread stuffing. :drinking1I was a bad Diser and didn't take pictures of my food, but then again I am such a picky eater you might have gotten me confused with a 5 year olds plate.

After dinner we headed over to Muppet Vision 3-D to let our food settle. I took this picture of Pizzerizzo on the way.

It was going on 7 pm for our FP for Fantasmic. We were seated about 10 mins before show time. Of course it was as good as always.
After the show DHS had EMH andMiranda had decided she wanted to do Tower of Terror. She couldn't convince either of us to ride with her. :confused3

While Miranda rode me and Chelsy went to take another spin on TSMM. We got sent to the new part. This was a first to us.

While we waited in the 20 min line Miranda had text and said she loved it and begged us to ride with her! We both declined because basically we are chickens.
After we got off of TSMM we headed back to meet up with Miranda after her 2nd TOT ride. We all decided to ride RNRC again.
We went through the exit and headed back around for one last ride. We were the last people though the gates and I had asked the little lady working the front if she wanted to ride with me since I had been riding by myself for the majority of the week. She said she wished she could be she had closing duties to do. we went on through where the FP and single riders meet and seen her again. She asked if I had found anyone to ride. I said no and she asked the guy at the preshow room if he would. He said he would ask his boss. By the time we got around to the loading dock there were only 2 other people riding with us. We asked to sit in the back and the manager of the shift was waiting on the other side of the limo and said he heard I had asked the girl out front to ride and she couldn't because she had to close so he volunteered to ride since I had been riding by myself most of the week. We all buckled in and he started out showing me some Hidden Mickey's and telling me some behind the scenes stuff. It was pretty cool.

It was probably the best ride of the trip. :cool1:

By this time the park had closed and we made our way to the exit and back to the hotel to turn in for the night.
