Questions - visiting DP in June, Lundi de Pentecote crowds

We will be going to Europe in June and arriving in Paris by train from London the morning of Thursday June 1st. We will have most of the day Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday there and leave on Monday morning. We are planning to spend a day at Disneyland Paris, a day at Versailles, and a day and half in Paris. We will be staying in a hotel in Paris the whole time, so we will use the train to go to DP.

I just realized that Monday June 5th, the day we will be going back to London, is a holiday in Paris Pentecost Monday (Lundi de Pentecote). So, I assume it will be extremely crowded in DP. So, what day is the best day to visit DP? I assume Friday will be the least busy, but it would be tough to spend our first full day in France at DP!

Also, I am planning on buying our tickets online soon. How do you use your paper tickets to get Fastpasses? In California, we usually exchange our paper tickets with a real ticket.
Thanks

Friday would definitely be the best time, it should be reasonably quiet. After that , it's a long weekend and if the weather is good the parks will be quite full over. Monday is also the start of school holidays in some countries.

Otherwise Sundays are usually slightly less busy than Saturdays (no guarantee though), so if you cannot do Friday maybe Sunday is the second best option...

Thank you #elena_n2o We probably will go to DLP on Friday. Tickets are cheaper as well.
Any information about how to do the Fastpasses I mentioned in my original post?

I wasn't aware of any school holidays starting on the 5th June??

At least Luxembourg will be on holidays (I know since we're going that week...) France, Belgium and I think Germany don't have any school holidays I think, so I'm hoping we're the only ones!

To be honest I'm not 100% how it works now. I think all machines now have a scanner, you have a barcode in your printed tickets you can scan to get the fastpass. I'll try to check it when we go next weekend.

Would love to know the answer to how to exchange the online tickets for something a FastPass machine can scan too.

So for those of you with online tickets, I had a look this weekend.

You need to print your tickets (A4 size!!) and take them with you. You don't need to exchange them, they can be scanned to go into the park, and they also have a code you scan in the fastpass machines to get your tickets.

Hope this helps!

I guess so (I don't know the DL ones)

There's a slot where you can slide a normal ticket (or annual passport), and a bigger window for the scanning
