Should we take extra cloths into the park? Should we wear a pancho? We really don't want a picture with one of those on. I am just unsure the best was to handle these two must do attractions.

Well, GRR doesn't have a ride picture, so you don't need to worry about that on that one.

To be honest we sat in the last 2 seats on Splash and didn't really get wet- maybe a little Mist?

Bring flip flops in your bag and switch them out for your tennis shoes before going on GRR. It is not fun to walk around with wet feet, especially when it's cold. We often sit in the back of Splash too and find it's relatively dry. There isn't much you can do on GRR because the boats turn so you never know where you'll be when the drops come. If possible store your stuff in one of the free lockers nearby, and I would consider Ponchos for GRR if you're afraid of being wet and cold. You could also ride GRR just before going back to your hotel for a break.

most of the Splash wet is waist down, coming over the side of the log, I have never been soaked above the waist on Splash, on the other hand, GRR, a total soaker. So you could use ponchoes wrapped around your legs and waist and take the great suggestions about shoes. and don't foreget a towel to sit on while in the log. feet 90% chance wet, below knees, 50%, 30% waist and below. 9 out of 10 will have water on their shoes, 5 out of 10 will have wet calves, 3 out of 10 will have thighs wet. just my numbers, maybe they could be adjusted with other experinces on splash

take extra socks to change into and maybe an extra sweater. you can wear one on the ride and if it gets really wet you can swap it out for the other one

Take a zipper loc plastic bag to protect your phone and any other electronics. Our kids ride GRR and Splash repeatedly first thing to get it out of their system. Then they change into dry clothes, brought for the purpose, and that's that. In the summer, they can ride repeatedly last thing, but right now? I'm pretty sure they'd opt for first thing so they can thoroughly dry out as the day goes on.
