Thanks! I got to play for my grandpa and now I am coaching with him.Hey, that's exciting stuff with college starting soon. New chapters of life are special. Enjoy it. And very cool about your family coaching legacy and nice that you get an opportunity to assist your dad and grandpa with it.
We are booking southwest so the hopper wouldn't work.Have you tried using the "Hopper" App for your flight? You can program in the date of your flight - and it warns you if the airfare drops (doesn't include Southwest though) and also tells you the predicted lowest fare for the date and flight.
Enjoy college. Some of the best times of your life will happen there!
Yes I am glad I'm not going to be too far away in case I need anything but will be far enough for my independence. I'm excited yet nervous.Wow, you're moving into school so soon! Exciting!
I went to college pretty close to home too. It's good because if you need anything, your family is nearby, but living at school gives you a chance to have some independence that you don't get at home. Take advantage of that independence (and the responsibility that comes with it). This is a good time to learn a lot about who you are as an individual and what you are capable of.
I love that you're continuing in the family tradition of coaching - that's so awesome!
It's awesome that you're reading a marathon book. Definitely shows a commitment to the race, and hopefully you'll learn some great stuff that will help you have an awesome Dopey challenge!
Life gets in the way sometimes. Thanks for checking back in though! Dopey is going to be something alright.UGH...I am such a bad DISer! So excited for you...another trip plus Dopey! WAHOO
I'll try my best.Enjoy the life experience, don't spend all your time on here! (But don't start enjoying too much of that Milwaukee beer - that's the way to get in trouble. Well, that and you are underage.)
Well we have three fans going but its still not great. I am sure it would be worse without them.Enjoy college life
I think dorms are somehow always hot. The dorm I lived in for most of my college career was so hot that I had my air conditioning on when it was snowing outside (I don't think I would have been able to survive without the air conditioner). An always hot dorm is definitely a bit uncomfortable ... but hopefully you'll find a way to survive!
Thanks! Time management will be a big thing in the coming months.Hey, just wanted to pop over here and say congrats on starting your college career! That is such an exciting time. Good luck getting settled in and finding time to run among everything else going on.
Thank you!I haven't followed along on this PTR, I can barely keep up on my own stuff, but I wanted to send along my best wishes for a fun and successful school year for you!
Congrats on this milestone.
Thanks! It's tough getting used to but I think I'm finally getting into a grove. So exciting that you are officially a college student! I'd have a tough time with a hot dorm room, but hopefully the temps will start to cool off soon and get more comfortable for you. Love your countdown days. We are getting closer and closer!!
