I keep checking because I'm hoping to get a reservation for the day before what I currently have and then cancel what I have. I will keep what I have if nothing else but would prefer not to go to MK for breakfast and then Epcot after especially if we do decide to go to Halloween Horror Nights that day as well.

Wow! That IS some Disney Magic! I am keeping my eye out, but I am actually a lot less concerned. I have watched some videos and read some reviews and it sounds like a lot of the food we have chosen is perfect for us. I am really glad I didn't let the lack of BoG and CRT reservations get me down!
 
You have some great reservations. But 100% agree with others to keep checking they open up even a day before. I downloaded the mydisney app because you can't enter the day and the meal and it will show you all of the restaurants with availability and the time. Doesn't show HDDR though...but BOG and CRT

1) At SSR, there is ONE concierge with the Dining Override Code.
2) The Override Code can get you into ANY eatery on ANY date at ANY time for ANY amount of people. *
3) The exceptions are capacity-limited locations like HDDR, Luau, V&A.
4) Just go to the Concierge Desk and ask different CM's for a ressie/ADR.
. . . Concierge with The Code will not tell you they have the code.
. . . They are supposed to use it for VIP's (WW execs at/above General Manager, Disney/ABC execs at/above VP, Disney Marketing customers)
5) If we like you and have The Code, we will just make the ressie, and you won't even know how we did it.

NOTE1: This is sometimes the reason certain eateries are way-way behind ADR seating times. I have seen some eateries with over 100 people added above the dining system allowed ressies. An override puts you in front of anyone later than the time of your ADR,

NOTE2: Even the Club Level concierge do not have this code, so asking in the lobby is your best chance.
 


This is fascinating. The few times I've stayed Club Level, it didn't seem like that concierge could get any better reservations than I could on my own. Now I know why!

1) Club Level concierge have no more "pull" than an ordinary guest.
2) It just seems that way because they can constantly monitor for openings/cancellations and grab the opening before the general public.

1) If the ressie was THAT important, a Club Level concierge would call me and ask if I could do anything.
2) Let me say that I have more "I Owe You A Big One" favors than most other concierge.

So far I haven't managed to scoop up a CRT or BOG but honestly I have come to peace with the reservations I do have and....

We managed to snag tickets to the Star Wars Spectacular Dessert Party!

That means I'll have TWO awesome Dessert Parties for this honeymoon. We are pretty stoked.

I'll let you guys know if I find a CRT or BOG reservation. (I'm thinking about starting an ultra late late wedding Disney Trip Journal)

If you don't get a BOG go when they switch to dinner at 4pm and just ask. You never know ;)
