Can anyone who has had their car shipped to Florida for a CP recommend a reliable car shipping company? I'm trying to find something reliable for going to Orlando in January but there are a million options out there.

Why not just drive it down yourself? And maybe get someone to ride down with you.

Where are you coming from? Most people I know who did this took the Autotrain from Amtrak that allows you to take your car but let the train do the driving. It drops off in Stamford and picks up in Boston or Washington (can't remember where) for the north east coast.

I've heard good things about Tru Auto Transport.

Lorton, Virginia (just outside of DC) is the northern stop for the Auto Train. I used it to move to FL.

Thanks meant to write Boston or Washington DC. Thanks for confirming though that is is close to DC. I joke we would drive down for s longneck vacation and use it because I've always wanted to train down.

I'm not sure whether I'll be leaving from Utah or California, but either way that's a bit far for me to drive in a car that's older than I am.

Tru Auto Transport is listed on a DCP parents FB page as being pretty dependable and good. I personally have no idea, but other kids have used it to ship their cars.
