Cheap eats DL/DCA/ and DTD

I agree with all the previous posters, especially Whitewater Snacks in the GCH. Many choices to choose from and a nice, relaxing place to enjoy your meal or snack. The individual pizza comes with a salad which is a good size. The nachos are good too. The Mexican place on Pacific Wharf has a chicken salad that is HUGE!! Very delicious, but I would suggest to get it and have everyone in your party have some to go with what ever they are eating. In DTD, Tortilla Joes has HUGE cheesy nachos that will stuff anyone. Same with their chicken burrito. So delicious. What we have done is at Rainforest Café, ordered a bunch of appetizers and everyone tries a bit of everything and after filling up on all the appetizers, stop at Clarabelles for ice cream!

Everyone so far has given great food options so far. My new suggestion is if you download the Disneyland app on your phone, switch the upper tab from attractions to dining. I used to use allears.net for menus but they can be outdated. The app is accurate. Good luck!

Corn...

...Dogs

Still my go-to.

Lots of other good options already listed (but Corn Dogs can never be mentioned too much), we like the La Brea Bakery at DTD for a lighter breakfast before heading into the parks.

Jolly Holiday Bakery has a grilled cheese & tomato soup combo for $9.99
Have you tried this? We thought it sounded yummy but then we saw it was reheated from the cold case and weren't sure how yummy it would really be lol I'd love to hear if it actually tasted fresh and good reheated or more blah like it looked

From memory it tasted fine, not gourmet but a decent enough light lunch for the price. I'd happily get it again, I don't remember noticing how it was prepared, if it was fresh or reheated, so I'm not sure!

I *think* they have those in the case for display only. When my family got the Jolly Holiday Combo we loved it! It was delicious!

Also, the Matterhorn Macaroon is the best dessert value, I think it's $2.99!

Well - there are the bread samples at the entrance to the bakery tour. It's not quite the Boudin demonstration bakery in San Francisco, but it's certainly interesting. Ghirardelli also gives a sample. The strange thing about Ghirardelli is that my kid is so used to going into their stores that those chocolate squares are referred to as "samples" even when we bought them.

We just ate at Pizza Press ( located at Carousel Inn) tonight before going back to the park and it was delicious and good sized . The young lady serving our pizza actually slipped and dropped mine on accident and without hesitation apologized , helped clean up the mess and got a new one started with a smile. The food was delicious and the staff is genuinely friendly and helpful.

They do online ordering to go too!
