Discovery Cove 2016 Roll Call

I've been reading over and over about the wonderful Discovery Cove trips and we are booking tonight for July 16th!

We are booked for September 29! Seems like we are the only ones for September so far...is there something about September visits that I should I be nervous about? :confused3

Don't think so, but it is a slower month. We'll be going sometime in Sept but I haven't booked an exact date yet. Looking forward to it!

Phew! I saw the first post and realized we are the only ones so far, thought there was a secret I wasn't aware of about that month haha. I guess I should be excited about it being a slower month, but the weather worries me! Even though we are going end of the month :worship:

You are added to the list in post one :thumbsup2.

And fear not, there is never a bad month to visit DC. You are going to LOVE the park!

Thanks! I went once almost 10 years ago as a child, but this will be DBF's first time. Hoping for decent weather for his first visit...:worship:

Any experience Gina with a visit to DC where it's been rainy or even worse, a total rainout...? Trying to contingency plan o_O

I think they will let you reschedule once without any fee if there is availability. I was hoping to schedule the day earlier in my trip so if it looks really bad we can possibly change the date. Thinking in Sept there will be openings other days if we need to switch.

That's what I am hoping for as well, especially since September seems to be a slower month. I planned for Sunday with Monday as possibly plan B, but now thinking maybe Saturday either as 'the day' and Sunday as back-up...

Booked December 24, and with Cabana, including buoy, that little one will get from the dolphin. She's much older and bigger than the last time, but it was so fun to see the dolphin with the buoy having a tug of war with her. Here's hoping the weather will be nice.

Added! What a spectacular way to celebrate Christmas Eve Day! :santa:

If its anything like last Christmas in Orlando, you will be grateful for the opportunity to cool off in the water. As you know, Christmas week 2015 was H - O - T . I hope you get the same warm temps this year as we did last!
