How long did it take your "In Progress" to change?

Hello. I've signed for about 2 or 3 Disney Professional Internships here in NYC -under the profession of Graphics Designing (Creative Services, etc)- around late Feb. Now the Internships i recall i supposed to start around May and up to now my status still says "In progress".

I want to know how long it took most of you who signed for the DPI's to have a status change? Does Disney really update these things or does it just remain as "in progress" due to employees not checking into their websites?

I say most of the ones I interviewed but did not get changed a couple of weeks after the interview. However I still have stuff on my dashboard that is "in progress" that I know I didn't get as I applied for them 3 years ago. Most of those are entertainment tech positions and PIs. So it seems to be hit or miss if they every change it or not.

Sometimes it just won't update. I usually just try to keep up with the Facebook page to see what internships people have been accepted for to know if I should give up on it or not, because the dashboard sometimes won't ever leave in progress. That's the easiest way.

Are you talking about the closed groups? I am really getting impatient already and just want to hear results.

Yep, the closed groups. Usually someone is pretty quick to accept people into them during application season, but seeing as we're approaching the end of application season, there might not be someone checking it all the time.

If you applied for the fall or summer PI's I'm gonna say that you didn't get them and probably won't hear anything back from Disney at this point. They have already completed the interview process for almost all PI's and are just selecting candidates from that pool of people now. They get so many applications it is hard for them to get back to every single person, and sometimes that's just the way it is with jobs, especially Disney. It sucks, but you can always apply next season. Sorry and good luck next time!
