How hard to get Crystal Palace breakfast at 180 days out?

So after realizing today that since I have two separate reservations because of our Disney Cruise in between our stays, I can't book for our late August post cruise meals until 6 days after I book for pre-cruise. One of our top restaurants is Crystal Palace for breakfast. Since I'm doing that at exactly 180 days out, how difficult do you think it will be to get a breakfast ADR? Just curious since we are usually there longer and I'm able to do the 180 + 10 rule.

Thanks!

We go to WDW about twice a year and always do a CP breakfast. Last year,a computer glitch on Disneys part kept us from making reservations during the plus 10 time. We were still able to get an 8:10 ADR. If you don't get the ADR you want, when you're that far out, people change their minds a lot, plans change a lot. So if you check for ADR's everyday and check the posts on Disboards where people let you know they're dropping ADRs ahead of time, you should end up with what you want. You really should be fine.

I don't think you'll have any problem...maybe you'll have to be flexible about the time of your ADR though.

Also, keep checking.

Crazy as it seems, people hoard ADRs and as it gets closer, they will cancel what they don't need.

I don't think you will have an issue. However if the ideal time is not there, be flexible and as stated above, keep checking. I know that I always book ADR's that I knwo my family will like, but as we get closer to the trip I may let some go if I think I have more dining tiem thatn we will probably want. I do book prepark breakfasts in every park on my 180 days out though, because I do not like searching for one if I decide we want it. Those are the ones I usually will only keep one of and let the rest go.

Case in point.

If the OP is going the same time as you, there will be 3 open ADRs every day.

We were at WDW in late January and had booked in advance (though not at 180 days) an 8:30 ADR at Crystal Palace for the Saturday we were there. About a week before, I noticed that MK hours changed to open at 8:00 instead of 9:00 (either that or I misread it initially!) so my pre-park opening ADR became a post-park opening ADR. I was bummed about this so started searching for another option on a different day (I used touring plans reservation finder so I didn't have to constantly check). Lo and behold, 2 days before our trip, an 8:30 ADR became available on Sunday (park opened at 9:00). So, my point is, it's definitely possible!

I've had luck getting a pre-park less than 80 days out twice before. The pre-park opening ones will be the most difficult to grab. But if it just the breakfast, you should be good to go at getting one at 180.

We got one the day before last year. There were a few times available, for a many days.

Marathon Weekend 2015 I got one for Monday morning (not pre-opening, but early) on Sunday afternoon.

This morning I did a "test run" for next week (though granted I could only see the Thursday a week before I arrive - or earlier) and could have pretty much gotten any of my planned ADRs. I don't have specific times though - just days and meals. And for three of the breakfasts, even the days don't matter.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I was getting a bit nervous as I'm usually able to book my later dates and get what I want. But with this, it's different to me. Thanks though! We're pretty flexible with our time-doesn't have to be before park opening, but I'd prefer it. But, either way, no big deal!

Yeah, I should have added that CP breakfast is one of my planned ADRs and it was available each of the days I looked at with "breakfast" being the default. (And before anyone jumps on me, NO I am not reserving CP for every day. I have already planned what park I am going to when - partly based on when I can meet up with friends in the area and what park they prefer or what day is Disney Springs because they don't have a park ticket - so I'm booking ONE ADR per day and each at a different restaurant, Ok, the Disney Springs day *might* be two ADRs depending on where my friends and I decide we want to eat...may just be WPE and Ghirardelli so no ADR would be needed.)

You should have no issues getting a pre-park opening at CP. Even if its 8:20 instead of 8.

You guys are right. I totally didn't think of checking the app and seeing what is available for dates earlier and there seems to be plenty of 8:10, 8:15, and 8:30 time slots and that's what I'm hoping for! Thank you so much!

And yes, CP is one that I can't miss while I'm there. I say it's for the kids but it's more for me! Thanks again!

Hey, solo adult here! Crystal Palace is definitely a must-do for me if I am there for more than one breakfast! (Cape May is my fave so if I only ever have one day that gets priority.)
