Hi Disbrides!
I have a question for all past and present brides... Me and my family are in the process of planning my bridal shower we are keeping it Disney themed but we were wondering if anyone had any ideas on decor or favors. I'm not a huge game fan at showers so if anyone had ideas on other things to do at showers besides games that would also be helpful! I would love any examples or Pinterest boards that were helpful or inspiring to you
Thanks so much for the help!

I'm not having any games....and this isn't technically Disney themed (except all the plates and cups and napkins for food and drink while painting are Princess party stuff designed for kids) but my Bridal Shower is at a local ceramics place that you each paint an item. It's like grown up plaster fun house...where the items are fully glazed and useable for dinnerware ceramics at the end.
I choose the items as I'll be keeping them in the end for us as a couple.
The lady that runs the company pre fires the items for us to then paint in a 3 hour party session.
All my guests get an item to paint and she teaches them how to paint and styles and so on. There's no reason really why there can't be mickey heads on the plates and bowls ;)
She then puts a final glaze on and fires them and I'll pick them up and I can then use them as everyday wear.

I'll then have a memento from each guest that came to my bridal shower!

My mom and sister did a really good job of planning my shower. The games that we had were
Match the love song to the disney movie

Find the hidden mickeys. Everyone loved this!

There was beauty and the beast elements

I wasn't in love with the idea of games either but these games were quick and fun. I loved the he said/she said!

Rachel your shower was so cute!!! Looking for ideas for my shower, so this is perfect!

Your day looked so beautiful! I love all of the Disney touches! The hidden mickey pictures are adorable and such a cute idea!

One the games I found for my wife (I had to do a lot of the heavy lifting for the shower) was a purse scavenger hunt game.

We didn't have much of a theme or games at my shower, but the favors were a variety of multicolored KitchenAid utensils, predominately in our colors but all colors of the rainbow really. My mother set them up on the tables and people went around and selected what they wanted. Just about everyone there said it was the best shower favor they'd ever gotten because it was something they actually used or had been meaning to get (like a potato masher, or a silicone basting brush, or a silicone whisk). Again, I know it doesn't really fit a theme, unless you maybe go with a Tiana's restuarant kitchen kind of deal, but just wanted to throw my .02 cents in!

The favors we did was we got these Pop Bars that you put in hot milk to make Milk Chocolate.

And we put two in small burlap bags with Mickey & Minnie on it that said Thank You.
