we will be only on QDP on 14 day holiday and will have allot of snack credits to use up.

I have beirgaten and via Napoli on my list but I have a feeling it will be silly to book any adrs as we plan 2 visits and can focus on the booths and have some qs if needed

else if you have to drop one which one would you drop?

We had a TS restaurant booked every night of our trip and it worked out great. We (dh and i) would start at Food and Wine exactly at 11am and split one item from about 8-10 booths over the course of about 90 minutes...this kept us full until our 7:45 dinner reservation where we found ourselves hungry! Have so much fun! It was a blast!

Was the ADR in the park? I would find it hard to stay around from 11 to 7:15 with our son I think.... Not sure really

How old is your son?
We do book a later evening ADR most evenings. But we do one full day of just "Noshing Around the World". If I had to drop one of your choices I would drop Biergarden. But then again, How old is your son?

We tend to do the booths as soon as they open, as a lunch around the world. My kids (and DH to be honest) are done around 1. Then we do a QS dinner at the resort that night. I've never gone in the evening with my kids, as I've heard it's very crowded.

it was a nightmare last year. My son will be 9.

I think we will keep at booths for lunch, followed by dinner at the resort

Last week, we ate around the world. My kids are 8 and 10. They especially enjoyed the Belgium waffles :) We left the park around 2:30 for a rest and back to MK at night.

Not usually. This year will be our third time in a row to F&W. First two years we booked no ADRs. This year I have two booked... one for check in day when we go to MNSSHP, booked Tony's. Then on check out day I booked a lunch at Whispering Canyon because we have a late flight. But the two days between we won't need any ADR as we will just eat at F&W. Last year we did walk up to a couple places for meals when we weren't doing F&W. The first year it was new to us so we did all F&W so that we could try every booth. We may need a sit down dinner one of out two days this year and we will just do a walk in then. All three of our trips have been three night stays. First year and this year we also did or will do a night at MNSSHP.

I have a couple of ADRs for my 11 day trip. I plan to visit the the F&W often for food. But it will be easier for me because I am staying at the Beach Club.

I was just there week before last for 5 nights 6 days and only had one ADR, tea at the Grand Floridian. I did have a food and wine pairing lunch at Spice Roads but otherwise I ate my way around the booths for lunch and supper every day. I did two culinary seminars, which are about the same size samples as you get at the booths but are paired with wine. I managed to get something at every booth except The Chew and I skipped the things that are always there and struggled to get to them all. Some it was just a glass of wine or beer cause I was so full. I found 3 booths per meal was just about my limit as far as how much I could eat.

My family is a different breed. We are going to be going to Epcot twice and both of those days we will only be hitting up certain booths at F&W for lunch, then for dinner on each of the days I made ADRs. The last time we went to F&W I didn't make any ADRs thinking we would be eating at F&W the whole time, however I came to find out that my family does not eat everything that is offered, more like a handful of countries, so by the time dinner came around we were going to different restaurants to see if they would take walk ups (fortunately we didn't have a problem with that). I don't know if your family is anything like my family (picky eaters), if they aren't then I wouldn't worry about an ADR because you will be eating all day, but if your family IS anything like mine, then maybe grabbing an ADR wouldn't be such a bad idea. Coincidentally, the ADRs that I have for our trip is Via Napoli on one of our Epcot days and Biergarten on the other one :goodvibes.

We will be at Food and Wine 2 days. I made a late night ADR at Beaches and Cream for the second day. On the first day, my plan is to grab some quick service if I need something else. I don't know that I will fill up on booths, as I eat mostly vegetarian (occasional pescetarian, and even then only a few kinds of fin fish) and there aren't nearly as many options for me. And a bunch of the items that are vegetarian are desserts, I think.

If you do want to try a table service restaurant those days, though, go for it. I would just try to leave enough of a gap that you will be hungry by that time.

I have never booked an ADR during Food and Wine nor have I wanted one. I would rather eat at the booths then eat the normal offerings in the park (which I find to be going downhill)

we are only at WDW for 3 1/2 days this upcoming trip. I was planning only one partial day at food and wine and then got an Akershus breakfast... We LVOE that breakfast so we likely are going to EPCOT for a few rides, meet and greets and breakfast then back to the resort for Halloween activities and dinner at 1900 PF and watching The Halloween fireworks from the beach. The next day we are going to MK for the morning and then taking the monorail to EPCOT for the food and wine going to a few booths for lunch and then back to the resort for an hour or two to get ready for MNSSHP. SO to answer your question we have one ADR but do not plan to do any booths that day.
