Our 25th wedding anniversary falls while we are in Orlando, 9/13 - 9/20. This is not the actual celebration, we are taking a cruise together in march (super great deal so that's why not closer to actual date). This is a family vacation to ride coasters and enjoy shows etc... Will make sure I have all things in place, her favorite flowers, a lovely card, something silver (still have to purchase) and reservations for dinner at a very nice restaurant without the kiddies. Is there anything else I can plan in or around US, city walk that would make the evening extra special?

ask for a celebration button at the hotel when you check in or at guest services at the parks.

if you list on your reservation that you are there for a wedding anniversary, the TM that checks you in should have the button ready.

i'm assuming you are staying onsite at the darkside.
if you are not, get the button at guest services.

congrats of 25 years together!

MACRAVEN, thank you for your help. And yes we are staying onsite. Took your advice and called to let them know we are celebrating our anniversary. Hoping my wife likes the button. Thanks again and remember to be good and if you find it hard to be good then just be careful.

Don't know whether or not I am being insulted about getting a BUTTON so won't go into flame mode. But, as I stated in my post I will purchase the traditional 25th anniversary silver gift. Will it come from Tiffiny's, that depends on whether or not I have the time to travel from Downtown NYC to midtown NYC to shop during my workweek. I'll keep you posted!

sometimes i prefer getting a small token of a place that will remind me of why i am there.
when Mr Mac and i went to Niagra Falls for an anniversary trip, the best gift from there was the refridgerator magnet he gave me after the Maid of the Mist ride.

buttons are a reminder of special trip.
