We are a party of three adults. We plan on buying rush of fear tickets and going 10/1, 2 and 4. We will not be in the parks during the day so we will be arriving around 5:30. I have trouble standing for any length of time to the point I really am in pain. Money is short. Myself and son did do horror nights last year with wheelchair but a lot was lost with it so we do not want to bring it this time. So my dilemma is do I splurge and pay the extra $150 a ticket for front of line passes? If I do, I have to pay for all three.

Do you get front of the line for the rides as well as the houses? I didn't really pay attention last year to the front of line people, do they have to wait at all or do they basically just walk right in?

Any thoughts would be appreciated in helping me make my decision.

Yes, each person needs express pass added on for everyone in your party to use it.

It is not front of the line. You will have a shorter wait than the standard line, generally less than 20 minutes depending on night crowds.

The only true front of the line for HHN is the RIP tours.

you can use the express passes one time only per house and ride.

the bill and ted's show ep is only for the first showing of the evening.

on some dates of hhn, the line starts early, even before 5:00 outside the gates.
if you can't stand for a long time, you could try for arriving at 6:30 so shorten your wait time to enter the park.

in past years, and depending on the house and date of hhn, i have had a 25 minute wait in the express line for a house.
i have done a few houses with friends in the past that did not have the ep while i did have it.

our wait for one of the houses was 90 minutes one night.

But if I buy the rush of fear with the express pass, I get to go one time per house and ride on each night I go, right?

I believe that it is good just one time per house. I tried to double check on their website. The language they use is not clear. You might want to call to ask.

go to hhn website and to the calendar for dates.
select buy tickets
click on a date
in the upper right hand side, you will see the park hours for that night's hhn.

all nights are open to the public at 6:30.

closing many nights are at 2:00
other nights closing at 1:00

What about the time needed to see all the haunted houses. 1 night? 1 night only with EP?

could depend on the date/night you plan to use it.

i find saturday nights to be a crowded night in the park.
with more in the park, the slower the moving around

i'm sure you will be fine and will be able to go thru all the houses with the ep.
less of a line wait
one of the reasons that buying the ep helps you see every house in the park.

Only options while down there would be Thursday or Friday night (9/24 or 9/25) - was planning on hitting it on Thursday only if it was possible to get to all the houses.

i just looked at the hours for both of your nights in question.
both of them close at 1:00am

no advantage of going on friday since you are not getting that extra hour for hhn.

thursdays would be lighter than fridays crowdwise if that helps you make a decision.

i have been doing hhn since 1999 and it always seems like thursdays are lighter crowdwise than fridays.
