Just remember that Lion King is half an hour long, so you won't get out until 12:30, leaving you only half an hour to get to Kiliminjaro (it should be perfectly doable, just something to be aware of).

We always do Character Spot because it allows us to see Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy in their traditional outfits with minimal line (although there is some waiting between characters usually, and occasionally a small wait to get in even with FP+). But since you're seeing those characters elsewhere, you may not want to see them at Character Spot too.

Hopefully this should be doable. I've gotten 11 AM for 2 people on day 5 of my trip (and I think 10 AM was also available), but it also depends on the crowds. If you have a backup plan, that's great. But you also may want to try for earlier in the trip if you can't get it here. Just because it's not available at the end doesn't mean it won't be available a different day - it all depends on how many people are going for it on a given day.

Oh, good point! So maybe I should leave a bit more time...just in case on the walk over DD decides she wants to see or do something.

Good to know...so I will try for earlier in the trip as well. But I still think that on actual FP+ booking day (which will likely be midnight after perhaps a drinkie or two lol) I have to have a strategy...and I've heard that it's best to start from the last park day of your trip....and work your way back...does that still make sense? I'm getting stressed about this!! I have to keep telling myself that DD doesn't even know about the trip yet...anything we do, she will hopefully be happy with because we just will be at WDW...right?? I sure hope so!

It's absolutely a great idea to start with the last day - that's your best chance of getting it. But realize that just because you don't get it on your last day, it doesn't mean it won't be available earlier in the trip.

And hopefully she'll love everything you do because it's WDW!

I had no idea it left the tracks.

Meh, Life will move on without an Anna and Elsa FP. If you can't get one don't mention it unless asked and only then tell her that you're sorry, you tried but Anna and Elsa's appointments were full. You can still see them in the parade.
