Good adult drinks to try in disney!!!

If you like raspberry, you must try a Pina Colava. They are typically pool bar drinks, but most of the bars can make them. I always get one at the Outer Rim at the Contemporary. I think this one came from The Wave. That is also DH's run and coke...

I have had the lapu lapu before and plan to get one again if they will let me order it from kona cafe. Also had the Grey goose slush. The avacado margarita is at the very top of my list this year. I wanted one last year and some how missed it.

Shofennhofer (sp?) Grapefruit is now available in bottles at all WDW TS restaurants, I believe.

The bartender at ESPN Zone gave it to us with a shot of Absolut Mandarin. Wow.

DULY NOTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also at the Poly, the Lapu Lapu at the Tambu Lounge...it's fun to drink out of a hollowed out pineapple!!

If you try nothing else in all of WDW, go to the Poly and get a Lapu Lapu. Its worth it if for no other reason than people flock to you and ask you what you are drinking. It isn't cheap, but you only need one.....trust me. And get a spork. You'll need it.

"Must Have" drinks every trip to Disney: A bottle of wine at Tutto Gusto, a Tokyo Sunset in Japan Pavillion, a Mojito at the Belle Vue Lounge at Boardwalk, a Black & Tan (or Half & Half) at the Rose & Crown, a Lapu Lapu at Tambu Lounge at Poly, a beer flight at The Wave, and any one of about a dozen great fruity cocktails available at kiosks throughout Animal Kingdom.

And before the haters come hatin', we generally go for 10 - 12 days per trip, so those are spread out over a lot of time !

How's the sangria at Via Napoli? How many servings would you say are in a pitcher?

I've only tried the red and it's pretty sweet, punch like but satisfying, though I tend to like tart drinks. You'll get 4-5 servings, depending on ice and tolerance, from the pitcher. It used to be a much better deal, but that's the way with everything ;).

I can't speak to the size of the pitcher, but I was impressed by the sangria, which surprised me as I'm usually disappointed by places when I go out. (My favorite recipe is Legal Seafoods - red wine, creme de peche, citrus rum, raspberry rum, lemonade & Sprite. Most places don't come close to this concoction!)

Tipsy Duck in Love from the China Pavilion in EPCOT. Just don't watch how they make it - it'll ruin the fun!

TL/BB - both bars serve the tastiest frozen Mai Tai, gives a whole new perspective to the latter part of the afternoon!

Italy Kiosk - Italian Margarita, packs a pucker, love it. It's made with Grappa & Lemoncello Liquor.

Mexico Kiosk - Outstanding Maragaritas

France - During F&W, came up with a Passion Fruit Slush that I hope returns this year .

And if you happen to hit OKW, the signature drink at the Guirgling Suitcase is called a Turtle Krawl, asst. rums and a splash of fruit juice

The avocado margarita and the jalapeno margarita from La Cava in the Mexico pavilion.
The Yak Attack from the little window on the side of the Yak and Yeti QS in AK

I second that if you are looking for a unique experience you head over to the Poly for Trader Sam's. I've had the Polynesian Pearl, Hippomato-mah-tai (sp?) and the Uh Oh A. There are several other drinks, and each has a "theme" your server will play along. Some drinks are served in a souvenir glass so you can opt out of that if you would like.

Also the Welsh Dragon at Rose and Crown is one of my all time favorites at Epcot.

At most of the hotel pools:

Moscato Colada (hold the mango foam on top)
Island Moonshine

At Epcot:

Grand Marnier Slushie
Any German beer

65 Days and counting. I can't wait to try some of these. Anyone have any experience with the margarita flight at Maya Grill? That is where we are staying and have an ADR for our arrival night. I love margarita's so this intrigues me.

Grey Goose Slush in France at Epcot. Tastes like a slushy lemonade....I get it every trip

And if you happen to hit OKW, the signature drink at the Guirgling Suitcase is called a Turtle Krawl, asst. rums and a splash of fruit juice

I will admit, I had 1 or six of these during our week long stay back in May. Loved the Turtle Krawl!

If you're venturing outside of the parks to the resorts then our favorite drinks/places would be:
  • Trader Sam's, the experience and drinks both are top notch
  • Blue Zoo, they've got a lot of great quality cocktails here including one with a Vodka that's infused with Swedish fish
  • Anywhere we can pick up a full bottle of the Iron Horse Fairy Tale Cuvee, it's a great sparkling wine made just for Disney (usually this is at the boardwalk for us)
Inside the parks:
  • La Cava del Tequila
  • Rose and Crown Pub
  • The lounge next to the 50's diner
