Does anyone have any pics of their stateroom with verandah (not concierge) with a pack-n-play? We are planning our next sail next year and will have a 10 month old by then in addition to our 4 year old. We've done 2 cruises with just the one child, but I'm trying to figure out how on earth we will all fit in a regular size room with a pack-n-play. Do you fold it up during the day? Is it as uncomfortable as I'm imagining it will be?

Thanks in advance for your help!! :)

I would recommend the family size room vs the standard. Will give you extra space for the pack in play.

They can fold it for you in the day but easy to open up if the child wants a sleep. The larger verandah rooms are better. Firstly more space but secondly if the child has a sleep your cruise goes on they can be in the pack n play you can get room service and enjoy the sea and the view. It's not lost time.

No pics, but we always get the family verandah room and there is a perfect place to put it between the couch and the sliding door where we never have to fold it up. Good luck.

image.jpg image.jpg We had a verandah on our first cruise and a SPH room on our second and there was plenty of room both times. We had it left open during the day.

My pics from the SPH don't really show a wide enough angle to help you out. I'll try to take a picture of my picture from the verandah room and post from iPhone.

One cabin with crib and one without.

In this room we had crib go long way across room.

Ok. LOL. So I made a mess here. :p
Forgive me. It was in an effort to help you gauge size. We had connecting SPH last May. You can see how much space there was there and compare to verandah?

We had one in March in a 7A on the Fantasy and it was a little tight but totally doable, could have folded it up during the day to get it out of the way, but we used it for naps as well so we just left it open. They are light enough that we just moved it around based on what we needed to do/get into at the moment. In this pic its pushed up against the dresser/desk. We did put the little red chair that was in the room out on our veranda for the cruise to give ourselves a bit more room.

We did a 4a (vgt rate) and had the extra space where the murphy bed drops down. The pack n play fit there perfectly with plenty of room to move about the room, use the sofa bed as needed, and even get out onto the balcony without need to have it broken down each day. It was wonderfully convenient. Sure a 4a isn't easy on the wallet, but it is for convenience.

We were on the Wonder a couple years ago, and had the pack n play in a 5A. The pack n play was out all day as we typically took my son back to the room to take a mid day nap. We tucked the adjustable height coffee table in under the desk area, and there was a decent amount of room left between the couch and the desk area.

We'll be in a 5B in October on the EBPC, and we'll have my daughter in the pack n play and my son on the couch, so it will definitely be tighter...

I will look for my pic of our pack and play in our stateroom for you. We sailed the Dream in a Cat 4A, verandah. The pack and play fit great at the end of the couch, backed up to the wall and against the curtains to the verandah. We kept it up at all times and it never cramped our space into the room. My DS was 9 months at the time and DD was just about to turn 4. I was very pleased with the size of the Cat 4 rooms. The coffee table/trunk we used as storage for all kid toys and books. You can request a diaper genie as well, that was a huge plus. Also, wanted to note that I had no plans of dropping son in the nursery until after one night of an unpleasant dinner with him. We dropped off DD at the kids club and went to look at the nursery, after 2 min of talking with the ladies in there and looking around, I knew I would have nothing to worry about. We took him in his pj's and with his bottle ready to go and always picked up a quiet and sleeping baby. That trip was a breeze thanks to Disney.
