My passes expire in October and have a few extra dollars available now, Can I renew my annual passes now and activate at will call upon arrival in November (purchase a voucher)? Or Do I have to wait til 30 or 60 days out to renew them? Also is there a monthly payment plan available for DVC annual passes?

The renewal window opens 60 days prior to the expiration date and remains open until 30 days after the pass has expired. For WDW Annual Passes, the monthly payment plan is only available to FL Residents.

your new renewed pass will come active the day your old one runs out.so if your old one runs out in oct your new one starts in oct.does not mater when you use it next.

HOWEVER.... be aware that at any time, you MAY simply buy a brand new AP. And you can do this with the DVC discount. In essence, that brand new AP does not activate until you first employ it.... You get a "green Card". RENEWALS operate based on your renewal date - which could be VERY far away from your first use date.

Renewals are, in general, the best way to go for most of us that attend WDW within the right window(s) - lower price. But you CAN get a brand new AP, if your attendance window makes a renewal less advantageous to you.
