Thanks for posting this. I am leaving for WDW next week and I have to go to HEB today anyway.
No problem. H-E-B has had a history of great Disney discounts. I always check the gift card area on every grocery shopping trip.Yes, thanks for posting. We leave in a week for WDW and the timing is perfect.
It's a Grocery Store almost entirely in Central and South Texas (Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Waco, etc.). They also have several stores in cities in Northern and Central Mexico. There aren't a lot of stores in the Dallas Metroplex, but a few stores have opened in the Southern suburbs (Burleson, Waxahachie, Ennis) Close to 30 million people live within a half hour drive to an H-E-B.What's HEB?

Okay I just got back from my HEB(Houston). The sign was up at the gift card area but when I paid for my $100 Disney Gift Card the coupon did not print out. The cashier sent me to the customer service desk who got the manager who knew nothing about this promo. An outside vendor takes care of the gift cards. He went and took the sign down and gave it to the customer service agent and told her to call the help desk. She was on hold forever with them and they had no clue about the promo either.
Told her to send a pic of the promo advertisement. In the end they told her to give me the $15 on either a gift card or cash. Since I had been waiting so long she gave me the $15 in cash, then I purchased another $100 Disney Gift card, and she also gave me $15 cash back.
So in the end I made $30 cash for $200 in Disney Gift cards. Not bad! Just expect confusion and make sure they have that sign out.
Same story with me when I purchased a $100 gift card at my Austin area (Round Rock) store earlier this afternoon. I did notice that the dates of the promo are listed 3/4/15 to 3/17/15 and there are small signs at the display (not coupons like there has been in past deals with HEB) and it is advertised as a "Spring Break" deal so Disney, Six Flags, and I believe Schlitterbahn are among the cards included and I think Chili's? If a Catalina printed, not sure what the dates would be valid for. I tend to lose track of Catalinas and don't keep up with the expiration dates, so gift cards are preferable to me. It was a hassle to get them to issue the $15 HEB gift card in customer service after the Catalina did not print. Guess it was the first time someone asked them about it since the 3rd person I saw finally issued the gift card. I did notice that "one per customer" is mentioned in the terms on the small sign on the display so I didn't want to ask if I bought $500 in gift cards, could get $75 back. We leave in about a week and I wanted to purchase a Memory Maker with the discounted gift cards as well as take some cards with me but if it is this troublesome, don't know if I will get too many more.
Following. We are headed to Disney in just over a week . I was able to take advantage of this for our last trip and saved a lot.
The manager of my H-E-B will be calling me Monday at the latest with an update.

Any updates on this? I know the promotion period is over but wondering if anyone heard back from the managers.Same story in New Braunfels
The signs were still up, so I was hoping the catalinas were set to go. Unfortunately when we purchased the first $100, no catalina!
By the time we were done at the store, 3 managers had tried to help, we ended up with a $15 gift card, and the signs were taken down. The last manager took our name and number and said he would look into it further, and follow up with us.
On the positive side, we did get the $15, or a better way to look at it is the $100 Disney card only cost $85
