Some direct absolutely make sense… BLT, BCV etc do not!!There are as many direct purchases as there are resale purchases on many of the resorts.
That's where my mind is boggled is the people paying as much as they do for the one's that don't make sense...to me. For them I guess they do?Some direct absolutely make sense… BLT, BCV etc do not!!
Probably still cheaper than cash rates. So it makes sense…. until you discover the resale market. As long as they are happy I supposeThat's where my mind is boggled is the people paying as much as they do for the one's that don't make sense...to me. For them I guess they do?

It is in the language of the deed. Usually on page 2So where do you see how many points the contract is for? I searched my own just to see how it work. I can see that the deed doc tax was $35 so that works out to $5000 for the contract, which is correct. But nowhere does it list the points amount.
Just remember, the Deeds do not show if it is striped or loaded. That can make a huge difference in value in the short term (not as important if you calculate it over 20 years lol).$100 BLT in my UY...very nice!
Most of them show the points and use year a few paragraphs into the Deed.So where do you see how many points the contract is for? I searched my own just to see how it work. Understand that. Still, $100? I've not seen BLT go that low. That price would make it a really nice option. You are probably correct in that it's stripped. Would have to be I imagine.Just remember, the Deeds do not show if it is striped or loaded. That can make a huge difference in value in the short term (not as important if you calculate it over 20 years lol).
Must be nice! Even nicer if they paid cash! They bought 2 300-point direct contracts for $82,442 each.
Mine was also sent on 3/20 and I am really hoping to hear in the next couple of days. I will be watching for yours too!Scar Junior---$65-$14416-210-OKW-Mar-105/23, 210/24, 210/25- sent 3/20
I had to run the math a few time... This is closing plus contract price. Hope I did it correctly!
That would be an incredible price if thru a broker - if you only see one like that on a Deed, it could also be a legal separation or friends selling between themselves, selling at cost. I thought ANY sale could be ROFR'd, with only inheritance or gifting (and Disney required a signed affidavit) as the ROFR exception? But there are a few Very low prices, now ROFR is mostly on break, that's for sure.Understand that. Still, $100? I've not seen BLT go that low. That price would make it a really nice option.
I think a lot of people still distrust resale. I was talking to my friend last night and while they are happy for me, they did warned me that resale is not the same as direct. They won't treat me the same at the resorts, they might cancel my booking if they feel like it...blah, blah, blah....That's where my mind is boggled is the people paying as much as they do for the one's that don't make sense...to me. For them I guess they do?
Anchoring and confirmation bias are extremely hard things to overcome….I think a lot of people still distrust resale. Ignorance and fear makes people make bad decisions. They recently bought SSR direct
